(Seven weeks have passed since X-Force left the mansion) On a Stark Enterprise mission to launch a communications satellite, the crew collides with an unseen entity, which de-cloaks to reveal Graymalkin. The news reaches H.P. Gyrick and Val Cooper who pass the investigation job on to S.H.I.E.L.D. , because Cable is suspected. When G.W. finds out, he comes to Nick Fury, for his job back, so he can get in on the action. Jim Rhodes, acting head of Stark, reminds Fury, that they have no jurisdiction in that area and that his company has all salvage rights because they found it first. In Camp Verde, AZ., the team rigs a new communications network, again, just in time to hear the news about the orbiting space station that was discovered. Sam knows it has to be Graymalkin, so he readies the team for a Lila Cheney transport. Back in Norwell, MA, Tina again tries to get her friend Vanessa to come out of hiding. She finally does, revealing she has morphed into the twin of Tina. Also, in the Australian outback, Domino recruits Grizzly to help her find X-Force as Cable instructed her to do. In the Swiss Alps, Nicodemus dies to the surprise of Gideon. Back at Graymalkin, Nick Fury, G.W. Bridge, and two agents: Network Nina and Alexander Pierce, prepare to dock the space station. Inside Graymalkin, Sam and the team discover, to their surprise, the voice of "Ship", X-Factor's sentient computer. However Ship has no memory of Sam due to its TO infection. Ship says he is called "Professor" and came on line in the year 3761. An intruder alert sounds and Professor gives them the image of Fury's team. Cannonball decides that this station is all they have left of Cable, so he will fight for it. The S.H.I.E.L.D.. team enters and is soon ambushed by X-Force. Fury is the last standing, so he calls in the secondary procedure...War Machine ! (Who is identified as Iron Man in the promo for #21)
