As Graymalkin self-destructs, Lila Cheney teleports The X-Force and Fury teams to the S.H.I.E.L.D. shuttle safe from the explosion. Rictor tells Fury to call it even now, but G.W. has different ideas. He tries to place them under arrest, but Lila transports them away again. Meanwhile, Professor placed Sam and Roberto into an escape pod and tells them they will no longer have contact after the pod safely touches ground. Before they enter the atmosphere, Professor tells them, he created the explosion to give the illusion that Graymalkin has been destroyed, but he recloaked the remains and will still be operational in limited capacities aboard what is left. On the coast of Oregon, Saul has captured Siryn, Warpath and Boomer. Gideon appears on the scene and instructs them to prepare for "immortal anguish." Lila brings Shatterstar, Feral and Rictor back to Camp Verde where they are greeted by unknown "incoming bogeys." A craft lands and is met by Shatterstar's sword, but Sam and Roberto emerge safe and sound with the rest of the salvaged equipment following shortly after. At Department K HQ, Domino and Grizzly allude security using an image inducer Hammer created in order to get information on Cable. Just as they download the files to Hammer's computer, The New Weapon Prime: Yeti (drawn brown here), Killjoy, Tigerstrike, and the Double Trouble duo, prepare to face the intruders. Back in Boston, Tina and Vanessa walk the streets and Vanessa spots a piece of jewelry she would like to steal. While attempting to convince Tina, Deadpool and his buddy, Sluggo, make a move on Vanessa. Sluggo shoots one of them, but he's not sure which. Deadpool tells him, "Listen, Dude, if you got the wrong one you're an idiot. An' if you got the right one -- Then YOU'RE dead !" ...Back at Camp Verde, Lila prepares to leave in order to pursue her recording career and X-Force receives a message from Saul. He address him as a "novitiate to the roots of the High Lord Tree" and tells him that the other Externals want him in exchanged for their captured team mates "or they will die....most horribly !"
