Opens with the team surrond Cable as he hangs on to life after the fight with Magneto (X-Force 25). Everybody is showing concern but Feral is making jokes. The team is getting mad at her when Cable wakes up and says that it is okay. Three days later Sam and Bobby are leaving to go to Madipoor and tell Xi'an about Illyana's death (UXM 303). Sam wants Boomer to come but she doesn't want to be a burden so she stays. Rictor comes up to her after they lave and kisses Boomer. Boomer gets mad and runs out. We follow Rictor who catches Feral as she is watching 'Star train. Rictor gives Feral some advice, if you want something go after it. Siyrn walks up to 'Star intoxicated and asks him if he wants a few beers. 'Star comments on her slurred speech and tells her no and walks away. Siyrn then throw up a can of beer and destroys it in a sonic scream. This scream draws Cable's attention and asks her if she wants to talk. Siryn's response is to kiss Cable. Cable is quite suprised and Warpath walks in breaking itt up. Siryn falls to the ground laughing and eventually passes out. Warpath goes over and picks her up and Cable ask him why he lets her drink. Warpath responses that if he confronts her he is afraid he will lose her. Cable questions himself and the raising of the team. He then decides that it is time to start trying harder. Cuts to the Whitman Maxmium Security Federal Penitentiary that is being attacked by a unknown source. Forearm, Tempo, Reaper, and Wildside are freed by Reignfire (first apperance) who wants them to join the new Mutant Liberation Front! Their first task is to find Henry Peter Gyrich and fray him alive
