Opens with Cableand Reignfire fighting. Cable blasts Reignfire who lands in front Feral and Gyrich. Feral is "discussing" with Gyrich how she doesn't like him and how she doesn't want to put her neck on the line for him. Reignfire responds with a the suggestion of joining the MLF and flaying Gyrich alive. Cable appears and starts attacking again while Feral runs away with Gyrich in tow. Gyrich is pushing all of Feral's buttons and Feral is getting quite angry. Cuts to 'Star surrendering to Wildside (last issue). 'Star puts his sword down and releases Reaper who has lost another hand thanks to 'Star. Wildside picks up the sword when 'Star sends a vibratory shockwave through hitting Reaper. At that moment Forearm comes flying through the air with Warpath following. They all head back to the ship. Cuts to Sunspot and Boomer looking over Cannonball after the attack (last issue). Boomer confronts Moonstar asking if she is indeed Mirage of the New Mutants. Moonstar responds with a physic arrow which cause Boomer to relive painful memories. Sunspot then attacks Moonstar and Locus who teleports everybody away. Outside Feral and Gyrich are racing away from the building while Gyrich is making comments about Feral's past. Feral turns around and lunges at Gyrich when Tempo stops her. Returns to Cable and Reignfire fighting when Reignfire calls Cable Nathan Dayspring! Siryn breaks up the fight and she and Cable leave to find the team going against Moonstar and Locus. Reignfire reappears by Gyrich. Feral and Tempo. Reignfire attacks Tempo for protecting Gyrich and then asks Feral to join the MLF and kill Gyrich. Feral agrees and starts to attack when Cable shoots her. Feral has defected! Reignfire then gathers the MLF and starts to teleport out when Sunspot attacks. A feedback results with Sunspots power and Locus and he disappears with the team. Cable then tells Gyrich that it better be worth saving him after losing two members. Gyrich replies that this just proves the they pose a threat. Cable slugs Gyrich and walks away.
