It is day 3 of Black Tom's hostage situation. He is now joined by Juggernaut who spots Siryn, Tom's cousin, coming for them by way of the rooftop. She is swatted away by Juggernaut and blasted by her uncle Tom, but she recovers and is contacted by Cable, an old friend, who recruits her to join them in ending this situation "cold, hard, and mean". Warpath leads the assault, by jumping from the scoutcraft to the waiting fists of Juggernaut. His momentum carries them over the edge of the roof, clearing the way for the rest of X-Force to strike. Inside, Gideon and Roberto confront Tom about his foolish plan and decide it is the proper time to make their move. Gideon leaps at Tom, but is repelled by his Energy blast, Roberto then powers up and joins in. Tom now recognizes him as Sunspot and they begin a brief battle cut short from a gunshot by Cable to Tom's chest. Cable covers him with his weapon, but Tom pulls out a remote control to plastique bombs placed throughout the Trade Center. Back on the ground, Warpath trades blows with Juggernaut and our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swings past the action just as a mammoth explosion rings out from the top of the Trade Center.
