This issue is after AOA and the team is living back in the mansion due to Murderworld's destruction (X-Men Prime). The team is waiting for Cable and Professor X to decide on the direction of the team. Sunspot has returned to normal after his Reignfire personality was subduded. Boomer and Shatterstar explore the mansion and find Sabretooth living in the Danger Room with a few bricks shy of a load due to his claw through the brain in Wolverine 90). Cable then calls the team telepathically to meet him. Cable and Xavier have decided to reinvent the team so it works more closely with the X-Men. Everbody receives new uniforms except Cannonball who has graduated to the X-Men! Caliban is added to the team and Rictor leaves again. The issue ends with Siryn being committed to the Weisman Insitute for the Criminaly Insane.
