Domino, Siryn and Meltdown break into Camp Hayden, Kentucky where the next phase of the Sentinel Project is going. They have returned to make sure that the project was curtailed as promised in X-Force 35, 36. They get into the building and find the place empty except for the word "Onslaught" spray painted on the wall. All of a sudden the Blob drops in to confront them. Domino suggests that they part ways but Blob wants to fight. Domino fires an armor piercing bullet at him and the blob is able to catch it with his new power of "mass shifting". Cuts to Shatterstar and Warpath fighting each other and Warpath wins. Shatterstar is losing is confidence in his fighting ability. Cuts back to Domino, Siryn, and Meltdown. Tabitha with her new attitude takes on the Blob one on one. She jumps on his back and shoves a time bomb down his throat. Siryn is shocked at this and wants Domino to put an end to it but Domino wants to see it play out. Meltdown starts counting down and the Blob starts to get nervous. At about 5 the Blob screams that he gives up but Meltdown doesn't stop. Domino tells Meltdown that she has made her point and Meltdown tells Domino to back off! Finally Domino tells Meltdown to please stop and she does. Meltdown takes the time bomb out of the Blob's nose and absorbs the energy. Then Meltdown blows twin bombs in the Blob's eardrum knocking him unconscious. The Mimic arrives and hauls the band and the team learns that Mimic has finally gained control over his powers. Cuts to Caliban and Sunspot emerging out of the sewer. They hear an explosion over ahead and Gideon falls out of the building and lands dead!
