Opens with Gideon dead. Sunspot is trying to save him while Caliban looks on. Caliban senses other mutants in the area and Absalom and Crule drop in to avenge Gideon's death. At the beginning Caliban is impaled by Absalom. Cuts to Domino, Siryn and Meltdown returning from Kentucky (last issue). Warpath and Shatterstar race in to meet them explaining that Sunspot and Caliban are in trouble. They leave to confront the externals and help Sunspot and Caliban. The team arrives and Shatterstar takes on Crule with renewed vengence. Meltdown, Sunspot and Siryn take on Absalom while Domino aids Caliban. Warpath climbs up the side of the building and enters the penthouse where the explosion came from. Inside he sees Saul crucified against the wall. Cuts back to Sunspot, Siryn, and Meltdown defeating Absalom. Shatterstar is about to deliver the death blow to Crule when Domino intervenes. Cuts back to Warpath who is attacked in the apartment by an unknown woman and is render unconscious.
