SABERHAVEN NEWS April 4, 1999
Fight Notes:
- After lots of emails, it's official. Thhe female dark elf Clef beat
Scourge the Undying. The battle was a power frenzy and very complex,
though short. Watch for this one to be posted soon to the site.
- Nevyn was DQed in his fight with Orred AAved for failure ot show.
- Five of six Champions' Round (5th Round)) fights are underway for the
tournament. These exciting fights are sure to produce some great viewing.
New Fights:
- Nhupir the Black vs. Moonsong
- Harry Hindquarters vs. Kkkrawkk
- Despaxus vs. Glub
- Teal vs. Kalla
- Preparations are underway for the very ffirst team fight between the House
of the Dragon and the Talons of Today. This five on five match will be
posted round by round online and hopes to lead to more special events such
as this one.
City News:
- The Righteous Champions of Altira have ppurchased two buildings in
Saberhaven for thier contingency and seeking a third. The Arcane known as
Arsanitian Zepiteran recently joined the RCoA which is under the tutelage
of Nick Dearsa.
- In a surprise move, Asharag the Red Draggon Man, defected form the House
of the Dragon camp and joined forces with the RCoA. Outsides feel this
move will temporarily weaken the HoD - coupled with Scourge's recent loss -
though they expect the house to bounce back strong very soon.
- The Academy of Might is also seeking a bbuilding to call it's own. No
word on which district they plan to buy in.
New Competitors:
- Trey'vith (14th level Thri-kreen Psioniccist)
- Stormherald Darthim (13th level Human Sppecialty Priest of Talos)
New Rules:
- If the tournament ever finishes, a new ssystem will go into place for
competitors. A ranking and challenge system is being ironed out by the DM
staff. Competitors will also gain credits for winning which may be cashed
in in a similar fashion as the initial "Points". All past wins will be
credited to competitors. More on this as it develops.
