A movie that based on the true story between Dalai Lama and his friend, Heinrich Harrer. In this movie, Brat Pitt play as Heinrich Harrer, an ambitious German mountain climber, who left his wife and pursued his lofty goal in mountain climbing.

It was a fate for him to meet Dalai Lama after escaping from a fugitive camp in India. A mutual relationship was developed between Dalai Lama and him.

Comment: The natural scenes of Tibet were fantasticly and beautifully shot.
