So, you want to post something here, hm? That's terrific! Here's how:

Simply attach your file to an e-mail message addressed to me, Portiadove. (Note: Clan business concerns Dark Jade or Kikasut or DemonSpawn, the people in command; only send me the stuff you want put up on this site.:) My e-mail address is pyrofae@mad.scientist.com. Please take note that as of 18 August 2000, my e-mail addie has changed. This one here is most current.

Here are a few guidelines to make posting hassel-free:

Message

In the e-mail message to which you attach your file, please include:

Your name or alias.

Your e-mail address. (Optional.)

A short description of your file. (Optional.)

Whatever other info you deem important. (Optional.)

The info above will be displayed alongside the links to your files on the site.

Stories

Please send text in plain text format. (This can be done by going to Save As in the File menu and choosing the Text Documents option in the pull-down menu.) Either that or you can send the text as an HTML file.

MIDIs

Please don't send me MIDI files. My mailbox eats them every time. Instead, send me a message saying that you have a MIDI that you want added to your bio page (That's the only place MIDIs go on this site.). I'll respond to you with an alternate e-mail address for you to use. :)

File Sizes

Please do not send extravagantly sized files without warning. Extravagant would be something 50k or more. Don't worry-- you can still send large files, just please send a message a day in advance so that I'll know to watch out for a long download time the next time I check mail.

If you can, please consider resizing large pictures before sending them for posting. This can be done with most graphics programs, like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.

Yet another thing, when sending files (such as MIDIs) for me to add to your member page, please be sure that they're not too large for the average Web surfer to download sans annoyance.
