he headquarters of the Jedi order, the Jedi Temple on
Coruscant looms above Imperial City, standing out
distinctively above the dense cityscape. This great religious
building housed the finest minds and highest authorities of
the Jedi, whose far-traveling Knights guarded peace and
justice throughout the galaxy.
However, the temple was lost to us when Emperor Palpatine purged the Jedi from the galaxy and converted the former temple into a housing and training facility for his elite Royal Guardsmen.
Today, the temple houses a museum of artifacts found of the Old Republic, the Empire, and the New Republic. Much is still being discovered about the history of the temple.
