Her parents were murdered in an uprising against the Empire, and she was raised by her uncle, the Prime Minister. She entered the senate in hopes of helping her people. Gaeriel returned in the Correllian Triliogy as the Prime Minister of Bakura, to assist the New Republic defend the Corellia Sector against the Human League.
