Re-awakening of Heroism Part I
We open on the park, Chris is unfolding a kite as John and Terra walk by, John stops to look at what's going on.
"Hi Chris, what's that?" Questioned the young man.
After the days before, he seemed more docile...probably because of his loss of all memories from before his death, and re-birth.
Chris had a dreamy, faraway look in his eye barely hearing the question."Ah....you are so beautiful..." He absentmindedly said out loud.
"I'm flattered Chris, really I am, and I always thought it was my sister you loved..." Sweetly cut in Terra, the girl who was trying to bring John back to his previous fighting skills and figuring out a way to restore his memory without the catastrophe of the
original. "...but really, what are you doing?"
Chris, obviously embarrassed, stopped unfolding the kite and spoke."It's a
surprise for Mina.....Wait until I show you!" He finished opening the kite, revealing a large red heart.
"That is beautiful." Came the next words, from John, which surprised Chris, considering
what he had been put through by this mysterious young man. Then again, he was trying to kill
him, and kidnap Mina, but killed himself and used his powers to give himself a new life and a
clean slate. Completely clean, he lost every memory he had ever gained.
"Thank you. Now, I have to get this thing into the air." He took off away
from them, keeping the kite above the ground until a strong breeze caught it. Then he
let out the string until it was high in the air, above the tree line.

Mina had just entered the park when a raven-haired young man came up to her, he was wearing sunglasses, which was strange, since there was almost no sun. "You are Mina Aino, correct?" He asked.
"Hmm? Who wants to know? Do I even know you?"
He removed the sunglasses, revealing piercing blue eyes. Mina gasped, he was the exact picture of the Phoenix Knight! "Not yet, but I believe you have met
someone who looks like me, his name is John. Take me to him, now!"
"How? What? Who?" Mina sputtered, she had no idea how to react.
"Fine, then I shall find him myself. I will remember this, Sailor Venus....." He cracked a
wicked smile, then disappeared into the forest.
"I have to tell Chris about this! This is really weird!" She took off towards where he
asked her to meet him.

*That's strange,* Chris thought, *There isn't as much pull on the string as there was a
minute ago.*
"Oh well...I guess there isn't anythi-" He stopped short when Mina stopped in front of
him, panting. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."
"I just may have!" She caught her breath, then continued. "I just saw John. Not our John though, some clone. He had black hair, and he knew my name, and......" She looked around to make sure no one was listening, "....and he knew I was Sailor Venus!"
Chris quickly cut in, "Wait...before you tell me any more, look up, you'll see how I feel about you."
She looked up, and saw the sky. No kite. "What? Chris, what are you saying?" She
looked puzzled.
"What?" He looked up, puzzled as well. *Hey, it's gone! Wonder how that happened?* "Mina, I'm sorry, I had this ki-"
He stopped as he heard a muffled gag from Mina, when he spun around, he found himself face to face with..John?!
"John? What the hell are you doi----" He realized that it was not John as soon as he took a good look. This one had black hair, as well as blackened armor as if it had been burnt, and the wings of a bat! "Who are you? Wait! You're that guy who Mina was talking about! What do you want?" He was in a rage.
There was a look of amusement on his face.
"I am the fears of millions
I have the powers of some
My name is not important
But you're find it out soon, chum!"
His tone changed from playfulness to malice as he spoke the next words.
"I am the Fenix Knight....
I have no other name
You spell that with an 'F'
not a 'P-H-O', too lame."
Chris was dumbfounded. Not only was did this guy look like John, he might even have the same powers as John! And that rhyming...ugh.
"What do you want?" Chris repeated his earlier question. "And why are you here?"
The Fenix Knight started another rhyming chorus, starting to get on Chris' nerves..
"Oh, you shall find out soon enough
Why I am here, you see
But I right now want to kill you
So let the reasons be." He smirked
He dropped Mina, and as he did so, he grabbed Chris with near unmatched strength and hurled him against a nearby tree, stunning him.
"I'm going to kill you, as you see.
the fires burn inside of me." He pulled a shining broadsword from his side, blackened as his armor, which seemed to glow with a familiar inner light.
Just then, he flew face first into the ground, as Sailor Earth slammed into his back. "What have we he-" He turned to look at her, and she gasped. "John? But how?"
In turn, she was knocked forward several meters by a force from the back. "Sorry girly, you're not hurtin' him iffn' I c'n stop ye."
As she looked at this new threat, she almost vomited with repulsion.
The creature was about 4 feet high, but the body was not human, it was that of a huge frog. The face was dripping with slime, the rest of the body clothed in a leather garment. And it was holding a Really big sword. About five inches wide 3/4 the size of the thing's body tapering into a sharp point. It spoke in it's own strange tone of English and possessed horrible vocabulary.
"Mine name is Brog, I c'n kill ye if ya'd likem me ta'." The genuine absurdity of his speech and it's stature were enough to make even the most mediocre person laugh, but considering the situation....
"What do you both want? Why the sudden interest in the Phoenix Knight? And who sent you?" asked an exasperated Terra, so many points converging at once was becoming confusing.
The Fenix Knight replied coldly
"Our names are all needs you to know
Our faces are the same.
If you want to find our mission though,
you'll have a lot of shame.
Don't let my rhyming fool you guys,
Inside I'm evil as it gets.
And continue protecting him you'll find
Just how bad it gets!"
The he turned, and as he did so, a black portal of some sort opened, and he and Brog stepped through, closing it behind them.
"Weird...too weird..." said a startled Sailor Earth.
"You said...hey! Where is John?" Asked a startled Mina, just recovering from the shock.
"Oh no! I left him back playing in a tree when I came to help you!"
"We have to get him!" Chris exclaimed, obviously upset about several things, his kite
only the smallest among them.

-Meanwhile-
At the demolished palace previously owned by the Negaforce, another dark force had taken hold. The wind that blew through was filled with hate, pain and anger, used only to appease this monstrosity.
The Fenix Knight and Brog materialize before him. He was shrouded in shadows, all that is seen is a red, blazing eye.
The Fenix Knight kneels in respect, and in fear. Because this entity gave him life and, he knew, could take it away at will.
"Yes," boomed the voice, the voice of thousands, thousands that died at his whims and at his hands, a mix of a scream and a laugh. It is evil, and so is the being behind it. "...yes, I sent for you. I want you to do something for me...Brog, you may leave."
The frog-creature ribbited, and hopped from the room.
"Fenix Knight....you know why you were given life, your mission, do you not? If not, this is why: The complete and utter destruction of the destined line, the possessors of the holy power. I have not been able to do it, for I was sent to this time by a force I could not control, but HE has lived on, and the Destined Line with him. He is the only one who can destroy me. But now, he is not even fit to hold a dagger in defense. Now is the time to strike."
"I understand my liege. My mission is to kill...."
A scream echoes from the room adjacent. Followed by a loud burp, and a contented "ribbit."
"Yes, now take Brog and go find him."
The Fenix Knight nodded, not wanting to go through another rhyming phase.
The scene faded black.

"Wake up! Wake up!"
A voice chimed in his mind.
"Time to get up again! You can't stay in here forever, and you're going to live again!"
John awakened in bed in Chris' apartment. Outside his room, he could hear
Terra and Chris talking about something, but he knew not what, all he knew is that
he must leave, quickly. He got up, pulled on a jacket borrowed from Chris, and left via
the window.
The door to the room opened, and Chris, Ami, and Terra entered. They didn't seem to notice he was gone.
"So he'll be all right?" Terra asked, somewhat distressed
"Absolutely." Replied Ami "It's only a small bump. He should be up in no time."
"Uh, Terra?" Chris tapped her on the shoulder, somewhat panicky
"What is it?" Terra turns to him.
"He's gone...." Chris said, motioning to the bed as he did
"What do you mean he's-?" Terra looked to the bed, her eyes going giants
when she realized he wasn't there. "Where is he!? Where could he have gone?" Becoming frantic.
"Don't worry, we'll find him! Call the other Scouts on your communicator and tell them to meet at the temple right now." Reassuringly he adds: "Don't worry Terra, we'll find him..."
Terra nods absentmindedly, as she takes out her communicator and begins to
spread the message. Ami did the same.

Serena was late, as usual, she bolted when she reached the corner of a street near the
temple, and nearly klutzed/knocked over John.
"Oh! I'm so sorry..." She turned and realized who he was "John? Where were
you? Terra called me and told me that you were....uh, John?"
John just kept on walking, not even paying attention, as if focused on one
goal, shutting out everything else from his mind.
"John? Yoo-hoo! Wake up! Come on, This isn't funny! JOHN WAKE UP!!!!!" Screaming at the top of her lungs.
No effect, he just strode on, like a zombie or a long gone sleepwalker. In
his trance, he was putting some distance between them.
"Fine, I'll just follow you and find out what's going on! At least I'll
have an excuse for being late this time......"
She began to follow him and noticed immediately that they were heading
toward the park.
"John-? Where are we going?"

There you go. Part one of an 4 part story line. Oh, my name is John, John Talisant. Well, not exactly, but it'll do for now.
