Gambit spotted Hank outside of Rogue's door.  "Hank!"  He trotted across the second floor landing to catch up with the Doctor.  "Wha' dis 'bout?  Chere all raht, isn't she?"

"Now Remy, no need to worry.  Something has happened, over night that has excited her."

"Well?"  He gestured for Hank to tell him more.

"No my friend."  He shook his head then he turned to open her door.  "I will let her do the honors."  He turned the knob and stepped in.

Gambit followed close behind him.  He darted from side to side trying to see around Hank's enormus bulk.  "Chere!"

Rogue looked up when she saw the two men enter into her room.  She laughed when she saw Gambit's excited face.  "Ah'm fine Remy."

Hank stepped to oneside to let Gambit pass.  Remy came down on his knees beside her.  "Wha' de matta Chere?  Yah sick?  De babies sick?"  He asked her worriedly.

Rogue shook her head, No.  "No Remy."  She grabbed his hand then placed it on her abdomen.

He looked at her oddly,  "Why ya ...?"  His voice trailed off as she started moving his hand around  the bulge that now was prominent in her midsection.

"Do yah feel it Sugah?"

"Oh Saints."  He whispered as he brought the other hand up to encircle both sides of her waist.  He then cocked his head to oneside as he laid it down on top of her.  He closed his eyes as he listened carefully.  Nu'thin.  He sat back up to look at Hank who was unpacking some medical  equipment from his bag.  "Why I not hear nu'thin Doc?"

"Remy the babies are still small in size even though they are constantly growing.  Give them another month or two and you will know they are there."  He smiled.

"Well if'in they still so small, why am Ah so big already?"

"Rogue, let's not forget that you are carrying two babies, not one.  Therefore you are liable to be twice as big a a normal pregnancy.  Also the fact that you are a Mutant may have caused your regular boby's normal reaction to change, to be slightly off."

"Oh."  They both said in unison.

"Excuse me Remy."  Hank stepped up to Rogue's bedside.

" 'xcuse me Hank."  Gambit stepped back to let Hank by.

"Remy, Hanks going out of town."

Gambit looked at Hank, "Is dat true Doc?  I thought Cyke say he leave ya close ta home a much as possible?"

Hank pulled on his protective gloves before putting the electronic thermometer into Rogue's ear.  "That is correct.  Hold still Rogue so I can get an accurate reading."  Hank waited until the thermometer 'beeped' before he spoke again.  "98.6.  Very good Rogue.  Your temperature is normal."  Then he picked up her wrist.  Placing his middle fingers over her main vein, he looked at his watch to take her pulse.  "Do not be alarmed Remy.  He asked me if I was able to go.  I believe the team is going into a highly volitale area and may substain injuries.  I feel I must go.  I will contact a colleague of mines.  She will be on call if Rogue needs her.  If she requires, I can be back here within a matter of hours."

Hank bend down to shine a small light in each of her eyes.  "She appears to be fine."  He turned to Rogue, "Any signs of the nausea or any other symptoms?  Can you keep all of your food down know?"

"Well, Yeah.  I shure can."

"See, my theories about why she was reacting the way she was, prove precedent."

"All raht."  Gambit had to concede defeat.  "If ya say so Homme."

"Open your night shirt my Dear."

Rogue put her hands up to the top button on her shirt.  She undid all the buttons.  She gave Gambit a curious look as he watched Hank feel first on place then the other.

"You children are in good position Rogue.  I will probably need to do another 3-D ultrasound by the time I get back.  We should be able to tell the Sex by then.  You may button up now."

"All raht Hank."

Hank turned to Gambit as he started to load everything back into his bag.  "Can I see you outside for a moment Remy."

"Yah'll gonna talk about me again, aint'cha?"

Hank turned back to Rogue.  "Not quite.  I'm going to give Remy instructions on how to take your vitals.  He'll need to report his findings to me on a daily basis."

Rogue looked away apprehensively,  "Shure Hank.  Have a nice trip."

"Now Rogue you do exactly as I've told you and you should not have any trouble."  He moved toward the door as Gambit followed.

"Be raht back Chere."  He called out.

She did not answer only nodded as he closed the door between them

Gambit turned to Hank, "What's up Homes'?

Hank reached into his side lab coat pocket.  He pulled out a detail list of everything Gambit should do for Rogue.  "Now you be sure to take her pulse and check her temperature around the same time every morning.  She can still take short walks, but don't let her over do it.  You might want to find something to help her occupy her time.  The more time she has on her hands the more likely she is to worry about her condition."

"Way ahead of ya Doc.  Gave her a calendar to plan our Wedding last night.  As de mat'ta of fact ... I gave her so much ta do, she'll be plum tired every night from doing it all."

"Now Remy, I still want her to stay, for the most part, in bed."

"Not a problem.  I hook up a laptop, buy her magazines and give her a blank account.  She be happy a clam.  All de spinn'in she gonna have ta do ta furnish de house, fix de wedd'in and have does baby, she'll run amuck with happiness."

Henry nodded.  "Very good."  He stepped closer to Remy.  "Oh, I thought I'd better tell you.  From what Scott has told me, you, Bishop, Warren and Jean will be left behind.  Wolverine and Joseph left earlier for South America."  He started to leave, then remembered something else he needed to tell Gambit. "Oh, your first training session with Jean has been scheduled for tomorrow at twelve noon."

"Wha' so soon?"  He teased.

Hank chuckled as he looked down at his watch.  "I've got to go."  He started to turn to leave, "Be sure to do everything I've told you."  He called out.  "The 'on call' Doctor's name is Dr. Matthews.  She is familiar with Mutant psysiology.  Her number is on the back of the sheet I gave you!"

Gambit flipped the sheet over.  Sure enough, there was a number on the back of it.  I hope we don't need dis.  "All raht Hank!"  Gambit watched Hank turn to bound down the steps to his laboratory.  He turned in the opposite direction when he heard several doors close shut.  It was the Away Team.  Mus'ta been wha' de alarm was 'bout a lit'tle bit ago.  He nodded to each of them as they passed.

Gambit looked up the hall to see Storm leaning against hers and Bishop's door.  She had a listful stare on her face as she pushed herself off to fall into step behind the other departing members.  When she got close to him, "Ya all raht Stormy?  Ya don' look so good."

"Well good morning to you too Remy."  Storm turned briefly to look back at hers and Bishop's door.  "I am worried about Bishop.  He has a lot on his mind.  I just hate leaving him right now."

Gambit came up to Storm for a hug, "Don' worry 'bout Pup none Chere.  He always land on his feet."  He outstretched his hands.

Storm made a face as she stepped into the circle of his waiting arms.  "That maybe true, for the most part, but I have a sinking feeling that this will be different."

He must have told her.  "He be fine Chere.  Ya 'jis worry 'bout bringing ya pretty lit'le head back her in one piece Eh?  Ya do dat ... he be 'jis fine."  He hugged her close.  "Bye Stormy."

Storm hugged her friend back tight.  "Bye Remy."  She pulled away.  "And do not call me that."  She winked then left him standing at his door.

With everyone gone he turned back to look at Rogue's door.  "Aw Chere.  Nu'thin's perfect."
