Filmography: Chris Owens, the recently departed Spender, has guest starred in many Toronto and Vancouver based series, including "Millenium," "Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal," "Stargate SG-1," "Street Legal," "ENG," and "Tekwar." He was first cast in the X-Files in 1996 for the episode "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man" and has appeared in various roles since then. He has had roles in several films as well, including "Their Second Chance" with X-Files alumni Nick Lea.

Education: Chris studied with acting teacher Bernadette Jones at Theatreworks in Toronto, and received further training at the Herbert Herghof Studio in New York.
