The 1999 Emmy Awards

2000 Emmy Awards

Nominees for the 52nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on July 20, and for the second year in a row, The X-Files was snubbed. Of the six nominations they did receive (compare that to sixteen in 1998), none will be shown on the primetime broadcast. If you'd like to watch it anyway, it's set to air September 10 on ABC. The one highlight? The host is Garry Shandling.
