1995 Emmy Awards Although The X-Files failed to win anything at the 1995 Emmys, they were nominated for 7 awards. These included Outstanding Dramatic Series, and Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series, for Duane Barry, written by Chris Carter. David and Gillian were also there to present the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
