Another month has come to a close, and so has my second survey. Once again, thanks to everyone who participated. You guys have such great ideas, and really make these surveys fun to do. Here are the results:
1) What's your favourite 'shippy moment?
2) What's the best "Where's the clothes?" scene between Mulder and Scully?
3) What really happened after the elevator doors closed at the beginning of "Paper Clip"?
4) What's your favourite 'shipper moment, and why did you like it so much?
Here's what some of you had to say:
AgentBerry: The Terma Hug was great because it was such a surprise and Scully looked so pleased to see Mulder. It was X-cellent!
Marie Keskinen: I think my favorite 'shipper moment was in Small Potatoes when Scully said, "I'm seeing a whole other side of you Mulder...I like it" because it just sounds like she likes him soooooo much!
Jennifer: [My favorite moment was] The forehead kiss and that thing Mulder did with his thumb on Scully's face at the end of 'Momento Mori' because it looked like he really loved her.
Bronwyn Morris: All of Momento Mori, because it shows once and for all what all of us shippers have always known - that Mulder and Scully are in love.
Angie: The hug in Paper Hearts is really romantic.
Kathryn: My favorite is the Memento Mori hallway scene not only because they kissed and hugged, but the whole thing was just so touching and tender.
Another interesting comment:
mjg: I understand their present relationship having been there myself. To progress beyond it, would be a road of no return. A limiting factor for the writers.
Summing up, most people simply loved the "Memento Mori" hallway scene, Mulder's bathtub scene in "Demons" scored well, and it seems a hug was shared between our two favourite agents after the elevator door closed in "Paper Clip." Other favourite 'shipper scenes not mentioned in the survey were the hug from "Paper Hearts" and that unforgetable couch scene from "Small Potatoes".
