The Imperial returns to Starbase 28 for repairs. Admiral Jacob Jou says repairs will take one week. The captain has ordered a meeting for all crew in Lounge One tonight. At the meeting, she makes some statements: "First of all, I'd like to congratulate all of you for a job well done. The Romulans were defeated--temporarily." "Now, we have some promotions to announce." "First, Lieutenant Commander Ralph T'Pek for doing a great job repairing our weapons!" "Second, Lieutenant Coader for leading the security team which stunned the Romulans, who are now on a security ship headed for Starfleet Command!" "Last, but not least, Lieutenant Miller, for exemplary behavior, not to mention marksmanship, during the Romulan incursion!" "That will be all. Thank you." You receive your new, second pip after the ceremony. You then return to your quarters on Starbase 28 and enjoy the rest of the shore leave.
