The Romulan warbird cloaks.
The Imperial gets new orders the next
day, and goes about its business for another two weeks.
Two weeks after the incident, Sol, Earth's
sun, goes supernova without warning, eliminating all life in the system.
Starfleet Command is destroyed, and all of Starfleet, not to mention the
entire Federation, is placed in jeapordy.
The supernova was not a natural occurrence,
and the only thing that could have artificially caused it was the Tox Uthat.
