Hi and welcome :)
I attended this chat. I must say I was showered and ready.. but it was early morning for me.. I was up late working on a SG-1 fanfich and sooooo I kinda lost concentration half way through..
Lucky for me I logged it :)) Unlucky for me.. I lost ONE question in the process... sorry!

The lack of concentration had NOTHING to do with Michael or the chat..... both of which.. as you read on you'll see - were EXCELLENT !
I must say. I knew very little about Michael Shanks - nor did I discover anything earth shattering in this chat - except the fact that this is one really nice, down-to-earth, smutty minded man. Quite cool really. The sort of person you can see yourself being friends with and hanging out with :)) The sort of guy that would ring Mum and Dad if it was the last thing in earth he'd could do!
But.. I must say.. he seems to have a fixation with Marlon Brando? How many men want to take Marlon Brando on an Island with them???? Or want him to protray them in a movie - young Marlon.. yeah I can see that.. and I'm just assuming here that that's who he's referring to ... :) Maybe he's not!
For me, the group I was with really made the chat. We were in Live Event #1 and, I feel, had a hoot of a time together - especially after the chat when we could all hang out and talk together.... I find that is ALWAYS the best thing about a chat.. the friends you meet while there. Sure, it's fun to be "chatting" to the *star* but I never ever imagine they are there.. you know? Online chats are [IMHO] a very sterile thing... but the conversations that flow after the *star* has gone are usually the nicests of times :))))))
I was busy chatting to a friend elsewhere and cutting and pasting this as I went... (so? I couldn't find the LOG button hahhaah so sue me! LOL) and not to mention the MANDITORY coffee break!
Was it me or did this chat go a long while??? It was great. Michael seemed relaxed and eager to go.. if his CONSTANT prompts for questions at the start was anything to go on....
As I said, I was a little under prepared for this chat :)) and so went inwithout a question in mind... I subbed 4 serious questions all up.. 3 of which were answered. One, which was a bit of a tease... was - quite rightly - ignored :)) LOL
Kudos to whoever was the Moderator.... and the typists... (I have kept all their typing mistakes in .. I basically couldn't be bothered editing them.... Michael talks fast.. so you cant blame them for a few typos :)) ) There seemed to be two of them, and the conversation flowed fast and the questions seemed varied and interesting :)) There were.. to my knowledge, over 400 messages subbed.. so if you attended and didn't get heard.. you might like to know that :)
