  • Well...Duchovny is sueing FOX over money he was allegedly cheated out of because they undersold reruns to FOX affiliates. I'm not going to comment on this...because to be honest with you I don't really care. So I'm refraining from forming an opinion on this. *L*

The season premiere will air November 7th, it was pushed back from October 31st for reasons unbeknownst to me.

Not a very good news update today because I'm still getting back in the swing of things. I promise it'll be better another day. *L* But as always...if you can't get the TRUTH here you can get it at Haven until we're up to speed.

    11.19.98

  • The Washington Post reports that "Fight the Future" Is #5 in video sales.

  • FTF is #10 on the Blockbuster hit-list and #5 on the Reel.com best-seller list.

  • According to Reuters, Chris Carter has been nominated for an award in the Caucus for Producers, Writers and Directors. GO CC! *LOL*

I was a bit confused on this piece of news but I finally got it sorted out. The film GA will be in with Sean Connery formerly titled, "Dancing About Architecture." Is now called "If They Only Knew." Apparently GA will be romanced by Jon Stewart formerly of MTV. *BEG* Should be interesting to say the least.

  • Man...Yahoo! News has got to get it together...there are 2 news articles under the Gillian Anderson search that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with GA. There were person with the name Gillian in the first one and the last name Anderson in the 2nd...but no GA. *grrr* I hate that....*L*

    11.18.98

  • Well...I was gonna update news today...but I can't find anything really worth mentioning. *L* If I find something later in the day I'll get it up.

    11.11.98

  • There is some XF related poll going on at TV Guide Online. I'm not sure exactly what it is because TV Guide Online takes so damn long to download on my computer that I usually don't even bother going there...*L* Got the info from Haven.

  • There is an article at Mania Online that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. They Fought The Future. Now What?.

  • There has been some speculation concerning the Nielsen's that came back after the premiere. While TXF swept the 18-49 for the week coming in at #1 for its timeslot, we were about 7 million viewers short. (*#%$(@#!!!! Apparently 7 million less people watched this year's season premiere than last years.

    11.9.98

  • I was checking out the The Official XF Site and of course they never add anything of a useful nature but there is a sketchy list of episode titles so here's the low-down, all the info here that is NOT featured on the official site I got from Haven.

    6X01 The Beginning (Obviously)
    6X02 Drive
    6X03 Triangle
    6X04 Dreamland
    6X05 Dreamland II
    6X06 Terms of Endearment
    6X07 Rain King
6X08 The Ghosts That Stole Christmas
    6X09 Tithonus
    6X10 ??????

As always if this info is not correct and you know the correct info please email me and let me know.

  • You can get a bunch of sound wav's from the movie off the XF Mining Co. Site. *G* I put a few on my desktop. There are also some posters and wall-paper on the same page.

  • Well....I've finally got more info about the annual Thanksgiving XF marathon.
You can vote at the The X-Files Secret Ballot Vote Operative Center Site.
*insert theme music here* *LOL* It's cool....there is also a contest where you could win a trip to the XF set in LA among other fabulous prizes.
*G* And you can view cast and crew choices.

  • Off the spoilerville mailing list...NO I DON'T read this list...this info was just sent to me by a kind soul.
The UNblonde (Marita Covarrubias) is reported to be in two episdoes this season....*GRRRRRRR* and Spender's Mom, Cassandra Spender is reportedly going to be in a 2 parter later this season.

  • I caught a blurb off the XF list saying CC had signed on for 3 more years...instead of the 2 years currently in the contract of DD and GA.
I don't know...I doubt that there is a snowball's chance in hell that DD will sign on for anymore seasons. But you never know...I've been wrong before. *G*

    11.04.98

  • Hey! There are only about THREE DAYS left until the Season Premiere!!!! WWWHOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO. *BG* Sorry...I'm a little excited. Problems taken care of let's get down to the business of updating....since I haven't been at it in awhile...you'll probably be sick of me soon. *BEG*

  • GA has signed on to do a low-budget flick in Scotland called House of Mirth. I'm kind of excited about this because It's a period piece and I've always wanted to see GA in a period GOWN. *L*

  • The annual Thanksgiving XF marathon on FX is fast approaching...and as usual you can take part in the choosing of the episodes, and I guess there is some prize or something you can win. I believe the prize is a trip to the XF set in L.A. Who could pass that up. Someone sent me a URL but it does not seem to be functioning. So as soon as I get a good one..I'll put it up. Until then try the FX web-site. Which I don't have the URL for at the moment.

    10.15.98

  • I know...I know...it's been awhile. But the faster the season approaches the more time we will devote to our site. Anyways here's the news.

  • Don't forget to check out Celebrity Death match tonight on MTV. It's on at 10pm EST. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson vs. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith....you know who to put your money on. *LOL*

  • On Mr. Showbiz there is an article called X-Files Creator Signs Book Deal. Apparently CC is cashing in on his popularity....just weeks after he signed his multi-million dollar, multi-year deal with 20th Century Fox...he signs another seven figure deal with Bantam books to write a couple thrillers....where he's going to get the time I don't know. The article should be up on our articles archive in a few days.

  • There is a URL you can go to that has clips of the trailer and video clips from the movie Check it out here. I haven't visited it so maybe someone will let me know how it turns out.

  • Apparently DD might write a baseball-themed XF ep that will air in the spring right around the time his baby is born...no confirmation on that yet though.

  • DD is also suing Truly Unique Collectibles along with Dean Cain...purportedly they are selling fake autographed pictures of him....stick it to em DD. *LOL*

  • If you want to check out the outtake from Memento Mori w/the unscripted kiss Go here. Again, I haven't had a chance to check it out yet...but fully intend on doing so as I haven't been able to find a site yet that will let me downloading it.

  • Awhile back I posted something about a web-site called The Relationshipper's Episode Guide, but I didn't know what the URL was...Stephanie was kind enough to email me the URL...Check it out. Thanks Stephanie.

  • David and Gillian are on the cover of this week's (I think) Entertainment Weekly...there isn't a big article or anything...it's the annual Sci-Fi issue and there is a blurb or something. There are a bunch of rankings and stuff in there also.

  • There was a pretty good snafu at 20th Century Fox....apparently the folks at the duplication house for Fox Home Video were napping and about 10,000 copies of videos that we're SUPPOSED to have been FTF ended up being "A River Runs Through It." So some poor bastards ran home from Blockbuster w/the tape in their hot little hands, eager to trod frame by frame through the hallway scene and got Brad Pitt fly-fishing instead. *ROTF* Well...I hope that none of you were so unlucky.

  • I learned on the Chaos XF list that Fox is b*itch*ing about the season premiere costing supposedly 5 mil. I think they need to shut-up considering the show earns profits of about $183 million a year.

  • The Wire is reporting that the XF movie sequel will not be started next summer. You can read the blurb here. I think this is a good thing because when they work on a movie between seasons it causes the quality of the show to go down a bit. I can wait as long as I get a good weekly fix.

  • The Gift Set release of FTF will include:

~A wide screen version of the film ~A Making of the XF video ~5 film frames from 35mm prints ~8x10 reprints of the 3 posters ~A making of the the movie book ~A script w/the red on red just like they used

The total cost is about $80.

  • If you want to see a site with a bunch of XF clips...including a certain clip from a *cough* certain movie...Go here. Again...I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

  • Once again....we don't post spoilers here because I don't read them...I know Meredith indulges herself here and there..*BEG*. As a reviewer I find it better if I'm not privy to what's going to happen. But....the best place to find them...is Haven For The FBI's Most UnWanted of course.

  • It was CC and Mulder's birthdays the other day...so a happy BELATED birthday to them..(10/13)

    9.28.98

The X-Files came in #9 for the Hollywood (Variety) TOP-RATED Syndicated TV-Shows, for the week ending September 13th. Tied with Judge Judy and Frasier. (I know...I know...there's not a lot going on when I'm talking about the Syndication ratings.)

GA is #5 on Web21's 100hot Buzz! Roster of the Most Popular Celebrities on the Internet. Clinton is number 1.

The Mining Co. has the second installment of "The X-Files Back in the News" up. Also there is a link to a web-site called, "The Relationship Episode Guide", which is cool because I've never heard of it. I'd give you a direct link...however because of The Mining Co's STUPID FRAMES....I can't figure out the exact URL. *sigh*

You all KNOW I don't read spoilers....nor do I post them...(it would be hard to post them if I don't READ them *BG*) However...as always the place to go for spoilers is Haven's Spoiler Page

GA was voted on of the 40 most interesting people on TV in 1998 by People magazine.

    The X-Files was voted the

    #5

best show of all time by Entertainment Weekly!!!! That rocks.

Don't forget that GA is on Leno tommorow night. It's a brand spankin' new one.

In the Oct. Issue of Vogue there is one of the Gillian/Emmanuel Ads on page 243.

    That's all for now folks!!!!!!!!

    9.24.98

CC signed a mega-million dollar deal with FOX. You can read more about it when Meredith gets it up in the Articles Archive.

William B. Davis (CSM) is going to be at Metro Comics in Santa Barbara on Saturday, October 3rd. He'll be there at 1pm to sign autographs. The cost is 10$ to stand in line..(CAN you BELIEVE THAT?), 5$ for the actual autograph (limit is 5), and 3$ for a Polaroid.
The event ends at 3pm, and the limit is 150 people. So in other words...good luck. *BG*

Our illustrious former XF producers Morgan and Wong have signed up to do a movie with Will Smith. Read more about it at our Articles Archive when Meredith gets it up.

Ohhhhhhh........guess what guys? You can now view the outtake from Memento Mori where Mulder and Scully KISS!! *snicker* It can be found at Haven's Multi-Media Archive and it will soon be up on our site. *BG*

Entertainment Weekly agrees that TXF were shafted at the Emmy's:

"LOSER OF THE WEEK" "The X - Files" The nominations were out there-- all 16 of them-- but the deserving Mulder, Scully, and Co. left the Emmys with just two technical awards.

It was only a matter of time...*BG* As many of you know Joan Rivers is PUBLIC ENEMY #1. She bashes Gillian all the time and she makes most people want to vomit. So here is a link to a new web-site devoted to bashing Joan. Check it out.

    9.18.98

Tea Leoni is pregnant....that's all I'm going to say for now.

    9.17.98

Apparently all the rumors swirling around a follow-up to "Fight the Future" are true...Go here to read a blurb at http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/">BBC Online.

Check out our Upcoming Events page because I put something you may or may not be interested in...

    9.16.98

You know...I SWORE up and down that I WOULD NOT update from these stupid computers ANYMORE. However...duty calls. So here I am.

"Fight The Future" comes out on video on 10-13!!!! (As you probably already know.) Go here to read a Company Press Release. But you can pre-order it on our site! Although I haven't quite figured out how it works...maybe I'm just incredibly retarded or something.
There will be extra "never-before seen footage". (The way it looks it will be like 2 minutes of footage, but hey...it is NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE!! LOL) Also FOX is putting together a gift set including: The movie (a widescreen copy), a numbered script printed on non-produceable red paper, five frames from the 35mm film print, 8 x 10 reprints of the movie posters, an "all new" "exclusive to the giftset" "behind the scenes video cassette" entitled "The Making of the X-Files" (was that enough quotes for ya?? LOL). Plus the Making of the X-Files Book. Check out the article from Haven

    Can you believe this Emmy

    crap?????

XF was nominated for 16 emmys....and won two. GA, DD, CC, and XF all got dissed over shows that are really lame (IMHO) I would have been happier had ER won something. (*BG* for Meredith)

Go to The Mining Co. For XF Fans to read a couple new articles. (Unfortunately because of the damn FRAMES I can't put up a link directly to the article...you have to go to the site and find them yourself.) There's one called "What We Know So Far" about what will happen in Season Six. (Jess is not going to read this because it contains SPOILERS.) There is stuff on the X-Ville Art Gallery (which is really cool), there are a bunch of polls, and stuff about the Obsse contest.

In case you live under a rock...they're already planning sequel!!!! The following is from the New York Daily News. HOPEFULLY it's true...but no guarantees:

GOING THE X-TRA MILE There's definitely going to be a sequel to this summer's X Files movie. Chris Carter, executive producer of the Fox series and the feature film, said Part II is set to shoot next summer for release in the summer 2000 movie season, which coincides with the end of the seventh and final season of the highly acclaimed TV show. "I realize it's a Herculean task to do it in that time frame," said Carter. "But we're going to try." By the way, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have already agreed to co-star in the sequel.

There is a more in-depth *snort* article at Mr. Showbiz...which we ALL know is THE MOST RELIABLE SOURCE!!. EVERYONE is talking about this...so there may be a grain of truth somewhere.

    9.3.98

You can read a script summary of 6X02 "Drive"...from Haven

BBC Online has a new (I think) article up about this season of the X-Files. Entitled All Aboard With Mulder and Scully.

Cinescape Online has a blurb from a Gillian article coming out in the magazine in the November/December issue. We'll post the whole thing then.

    9.2.98

Take the Poll at TV Guide Online for who you think should win at the Emmy's. Uhhhhh....who else?

Here's what The Official Site has to say about upcoming episodes:

    6X01: "The Beginning"
    6X02: "Drive"
6X03: "Untitled" (The rumor is it's called "Ghost Ship"
    6X04: "Dreamland"
    6X05: "Dreamland II"

Go Here to read the transcript of the DD interview with Charlie Rose that aired last month...and just re-aired. From Haven.

There are a couple of articles at The Mining Co. about the difference in DD and GA since the move to LA, and an interview with the girl who played Emily. How in the hell they did that is beyond me considering she's what? Five?

So apparently we're getting our first two-parter early on.

    9.1.98

According to Haven there was some Poll.......(I don't know where) but the X-Files Movie won something for best kiss!!!!!!! Those of you who saw the movie know what really happened. *sigh*
    Here's the blurb:

BEST SCREEN KISS - Speaking of liplock, the summer's primo big-screen pairing grew from small-screen sexual tension. Deep down, you knew agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully weren't really going to kiss in The X-Files, but they came oh, so close. Damn that bee! (Female readers who saw The Horse Whisperer eight times might beg to differ, but Robert Redford and Kristin Scott Thomas just about won the above award, so don't even go there.)

    8.31.98

If you want to see some new spoilers.......go to Haven. And NOOOOO I didn't read these!

Before the Emmy's they give out some of the awards they don't bore television viewers with. The X-Files picked up 2 Emmy's out of the eleven they were nominated for in the creative-arts categories. They won Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Series for: "Kill Switch". AND Outstanding Art Direction For a Series for: Post-Modern Prometheus. Let's hope on Sep. 13th during the televised portion they do just as well. GO Dave! GO Gillian! *BG*

I don't know who in the hell compiled E! Online's Top 10 KickAss TV Divas's but Scully was conspicuously (I KNOW that's not spelled right) absent from the list...and

    BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER

was number 1. *gag* They even had HEATHER LOCKLEAR on there. *sigh* What is this world coming to?

    8.29.98

You know what.......there isn't really anything going on today. *sigh* But maybe check back later and something will have happened.

    8.28.98...again

Go here to read an article on The X-Files now that they're shot in Hollywood. From E! Online

Well...maybe everyone has read this article. It is kind of old...but in case you haven't..(like me) Read this Article about Gillian

For ANOTHER article on the move to LA...go here. From Mr. Showbiz.

    8.28.98

Check out the Starlight Cards made by DD, GA, and Tea for the Starlight Children's Foundation. GA's was the best, and I have to admit Tea's and David's are damn good also...from the ever fabulous Haven.

Okay...I read some spoilers. SUE ME!! *G* I COULD NOT HELP IT. I am SOOOOOOO excited. *sigh* *flipping out* Go to Haven to read them.

Here's the Low-Down on the ep titles so far: "The Beginning", "Drive", "Ghost Ship", and "Dreamland".

Okay...apparently the season premiere is on November 8th and not the 1st. %#@*%&@(#*&!! I guess it's official because it's on The Official Site.

Here's the Low-Down on some of what's happening.... 22 episodes 6-8 mythology, 7 with CSM, Chris Owens (Agent Spender) singed for a rumored 12 eps, Mimi Rodgers (Diana Fowley) to appear in around 6 episodes, including the premiere. The Gunmen are to appear in 6 episodes (according to cinescape). Mulder and Scully are supposed to appear in more episodes together than last season. Krycek is rumored to be in 6 episodes, is also rumored to have gained also staring status for the credits. Suzanne Modeski will be in a few episodes. From...where ELSE?? HAVEN. *BG*

There's something on Duchovny's mouth (NO I'm not talking about his actual MOUTH) at The Mining Co....and although what it says is true...and Sarah Stegall is correct in her comments on the situation. I don't care...he still needs to watch himself. If you want to know what I really think...*BG* scroll down the What's New page. Then again...maybe you don't. *LOL*

    8.16.98

Go take the Ultimate TV Poll and vote for your favorite show! (The X-Files Of course!) *BG*

As always go to Haven's Spoiler Page for the latest on the up-coming episodes. As always Jess remains unspoiled. *G*

The Official Site lists the first three episodes for season six as: "The Beginning", "Drive", "Untitled". If you want to know what their about...again go to Haven. We don't post spoilers here. :)

Hollywood Variety lists the X-Files at #9 for the top-rated syndicated TV Shows, for the week ending July 26. Right behind Judge Judy and Entertainment Tonight. (That's really sad.)

    8.11.98

There's an article at The Mining Co. For XF Fans about the movie and season six. Check it out!

    8.9.98

Hey Hey Hey!! First of all Happy Birthday Gillian!!

Well...Dr. David Whitehouse, the Science Editor for the BBC news can go to hell. He writes a disappointing little piece about why the X-Files sucks...blah...blah...blah. *sigh* If you really must read it have a look.

According to Hollywood Variety, the X-Files ranked #8 on the Top-Rated TV shows in Syndication for the week ending July 9th.

Parascope reports the REAl FEMA is a bit sensitive as to how they were portrayed in the movie. Awwwwww.....

ET let it slip that InStyle magazine's next issue will have the results of their Sexiest Poll. Ally McBeal won but X-Files came in second ahead of Babewatch...er Baywatch. *BG* That's a great victory. Who doesn't hate that show?
