Will slept silently on the cold hard floor of the strange room
that Becky had found herself in when she awoke. The fact that Will was
still asleep didn't bother her. He'd always been a very sound sleeper.
It had been said of him once that he could sleep through the
apocalypse. In response to this he'd remarked that he intended to.
Becky smiled at the memory. She guessed that the drug had worn off,
and that he was merely asleep.
Becky took the time to reminisce about the past. Will was a year
ahead of her at school. She had entered the band room early on the
first day of school. She'd wanted to get some practice in before
class.
But upon entering, she'd found the room already occupied by three
people who were apparently having a jam session. These three people
turned out to be Zachary Jase, on guitar, Carrie Chu on the clarinet,
and Will Davidson on the harmonica.
The music stopped as soon as she came in. "Uh oh guys," Zach had
exclaimed. "We've been discovered! Let's split up! She can't catch
all of us!"
"We'll regroup by the vending machines!" Will suggested.
"Why the vending machines?" Zach asked.
     "I'm hungry."
Carrie giggled at her friend's shenanigans. "Hi." she said.
"I'm Carrie, and these two weirdoes are Will and Zach." She pointed to
each in turn.
"No," Will corrected her. "I'm Zach and that's Will."
"Are you sure?" Zach asked. "I thought I was Rosencrantz."
"So that would make me Guildenstern?"
     "Are you sure?"
     "Sure about what?"
     "Sure about that."
     "Statement! 1 love!"
     "D'oh!"
"But seriously," Will smiled. "I'm Will. Nice to meet you."
They'd become fast friends the four of them. In fact, they made
such a great team when it came to music, people started calling them
the Fantastic Four. They'd become in popular demand for parties.
They'd even played for Homecoming. Eventually Becky met another of
Will's friends, a dancer named Jasmine. And then had come the blow.
Will's apartment had been destroyed in an explosion that was believed
to be arson. Will had been presumed dead. That had been last year.
"Unh." Becky snapped out of her reverie at the sound. Will was
waking up. "Morning already?" As Will became aware of his
surroundings, he also remembered the mess they were in. Suddenly he
was wide awake.
     "Where are we?" he asked.
"I don't know." Becky answered. "I woke up in here, and no one's
been in here but us."
"How long was I out?" Will asked curiously.
"I don't know, I wasn't keeping track of the time." Becky smiled
faintly. "Brings back memories doesn't it?"
Will smiled, and blushed at the memory. Several months before the
explosion that had changed his life, he and Becky had been locked in a
closet together for several hours at a party to see what they would do.
They'd both almost lost their virginity in that closet.
Will looked at her suddenly, and arched an eyebrow. "You wouldn't
by any chance have an ulterior motive for bringing that up would you?"
Becky laughed at the innuendo. "No Will 'fraid not. Actually, I
no longer swing that way."
Will started. "You're shittin' me." he said.
     "Nope."
     "When did this happen?"
"About a month ago, at a party."
"Woah." Will said softly, very surprised. "This is almost as
surprising as when I found out you were a masochist." They had been at
a Friendly's after playing pit for the school musical, and somehow the
topic had come up.
"Ahem." someone said behind her. "I hate to break this reunion
up. But I would imagine you're quite curious as to why I have brought
you here."
Becky didn't even have to turn around to see who it was. Will was
facing the man, and wore an amazed, and even an awed expression on his
face. "You can say that again, Namor." he said.

Interlude:
Jubilee stood outside the door of Will's room, several cardboard
boxes next to her. The time had come, with the insistence of Cyclops,
to empty Will's room.
"It's time you said your final good-byes Jubilee." the stoic,
Keanu Reevesish leader of the X-Men told her.
Jubilee herself had finished her packing, tomorrow she would
accompany Angelo, Monet, Paige and Everett to their new school in
Massachusetts. She'd said her good-byes to her team mates.
Taking a deep breath, she opened the door and entered. And
gasped in shock. Someone had been here before her. Pictures, clothes,
decorations, all gone. the only thing still there was the furniture.
"What the-" she couldn't finish. Her shock was soon replaced
by anger. Someone had denied her the duty of cleaning out his room.
She hadn't been in here since before her encounter with the being
calling himself Q.
	"Cyclops!" Jubilee shouted in fury.
