Welcome!

My name is Liz Bond and I've been doing genealogy research for several years. I'm the self-appointed family historian. With the recent marriage of my niece, Amy Shisler, to Jason Marks, I thought this would be a great time to start a family page with a special dedicated section for the happy couple.

Our family comes from Europe, originally. My dad's folks were from Hessen-Darmstadt and Baden, Germany. Mom's folks came from Scotland (by way of Ireland) and from England. They settled in various parts of the United States, living in New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas. Amy's dad's folks come from Germany and Poland, based on his ancestors surnames, and Jason's folks remain to be determined. Given the migration patterns over the years, it would be easy to assume that Jason's ancestors once resided in Europe.

On the following pages, I've tried to include a little bit of information on everybody. If I left anyone out, please let me know! Plus, if you are interested in research on the families, I would be more than happy to share the information that I've collected.
