The Book of Shadows Nitpickers Section for Season Two

The Nitpickers Section: Season 2

Witch Trails

Morality Bites

At the beginning of this episode, there are two spells, one to go to the future, and the other to return to the present. Later in the episode, when Prue and Piper find the Book of Shadows both spells are missing. Later on, Prue points out that some of the Book's pages are marked. While she's flipping through the pages, one of the spells that's shown is the Return Spell, the same one that was missing from the book before.

Painted World

When Phoebe goes in for her job interview, she discovers a room full of "brains" also applying for the same job. While sitting down, she overhears two very stuck up people talking about how they went to Harvard and Stanford, as well as ststing they were academic scholars. Then Phoebe turns to a guy weho says "Who cares about linear Algebra and Differentials...". What the hell was he talking about, because he was NOT refering to the test, he was discussing math applications. Why?

When Piper goes to see Dan, she tells him that she has "The Warren peace of code violations". Why did she use the name Warren versus Halliwell, and how would Dan know what she meant?

There are a few scenes where the painting lights up because a fireball passes the window, yet the window stays lit very brightly after the fireball passes. How?

When Piper comes into the kitchen asking Phoebe where Prue is, she goes into this laundry list of stuff Prue does each morning. But Piper says that "Kat" is not fed. but the cat's name is Kit.

Malcolm stated that he has seen the X-Rayed spell the same way Prue did, with an X-Ray. We then discover that Malcolm has been trapped inside the painting for 70 years. If this is true, wouldn't Prue find it a little suspicious immediately that Malcolm got an X-Ray of the painting when there was no way to X-Ray anything back in the 1920's?

When Piper goes to Buckland's to find Prue, she takes the painting and X-Ray by freezing Joe. However, the shot when Joe becomes unforzen, he has a VERY different look on his face when he was supposed to be frozen.

When Prue first arrived in the painting, she told Malcolm that she has two sisters who will get them out. However, when Piper lands inside, he acts as if Piper is the only other sister. But Prue told him she had two, so what was he thinking?

How does Jane know to convieniently be outside the Manor right before Malcolm is freed?

This is not a nitpick, but I thought it needed to be included somewhere. Out of all the warlocks to date, Malcolm is the best. His character is so damn cocky and funny, and his facial expressions are absolutely perfect. It's too bad he probably won't see him ever again.

After the scene where Piper lands in the painting, we see about 3 scenes for LONG periods of time in the main room of the castle. Yet there is never a fireball at aqll during these scene. Where'd they go?

And finally, when the pianting burns we see Prue putting it out with a fire extinguisher. The picture is gone and the frame is fried, yet there is not a mark on the WOODEN chair the painting rested on.
