Part 1

A swirling blue tunnel of light opened up in a small park in San Francisico. People nearby watched as four figures fell out. First there was a bigger man, followed by a black man, then a younger looking man, followed by a female with short red hair.

Professor Maximillion Arturo groaned and stood up, looking at his new surroundings. Rembrant Brown and Quinn Mallory did the same.
They heard an awful groan from Wade Welles. Quinn turned to see her still laying on the ground, and a very large cut on her head was bleeding. He kneeled down beside his fallen friend.
"Are you ok?" Quinn asked, concern evident in his voice.
"No" groaned Wade. Trying to sit up, but Quinn pushed her back down.
"Just lay still, we will get you to a hospital."

"What's wrong?" asked Rembrant walking over to Quinn.
"It's Wade, she must have hit her head or something. There is a cut thats bleeding pretty bad."
"I'll hail us a cab"
"Thanks Remmy."
Rembrant walked over to the side of the road, and tried to hail down a passing cab. Finally one stopped.

Quinn scooped Wade up in his arms, and then got into the cab with Rembrant and Arturo.
"Where to my friends?" asked the cab driver.
"The closest hospital or medical center" said The Professor.
"Excuse me?" asked the cab driver confused. "A medical center, or hospital?
What is that?"
"A place for healing the injured. My friend has a really large cut on her head, and I would like to get it taken care of as soon as possible" Quinn yelled at the driver.
The cab driver still seemed confused. "You must mean the spiritual healers."
"Whatever, just take us there you blistering idiot!" yelled Arturo.

Part 2

The cab driver pulled up to a very old looking house. There was a sign in the front lawn that had the medical cross, but written on top was the words "Spiritual Healers".
"Appently the civilization of this world belives the spirtual part of a person is the most important." said The Professor.
Quinn followed Rembrant and Arutro up the worn out steps of the old house. Rembrant knocked on the door.
A rather old looking woman with white hair opened it. "Hello, how may I be of service?" she asked. Her voice had a heavy accent.
"My friend here, fell and has a bad cut on her forehead, and it's bleeding pretty bad." Quinn explained.

"Bring her inside, I will have a look." The old woman held the door opened and let the sliders inside. "My name is Rose." Rose led the group to a room in the back of the old house. There were many candles lit, it smelled of herbs, and there was several healing books scattered around the room. "Please put her on the table."

Quinn laid Wade down on the table that Rose had pointed to. Rose walked over to look at the wound. "It's bleeding very badly, but it's not deep." Rose walked over to a pot of water, she dipped a cloth in it, and wiped the blood off the wound, and cleaned all the blood off of Wade's face.
Quinn watched intently.
Once Rose had the blood clean, she opened a small silk bag. She took some green leaves out of the bag. Quinn guessed they were herbs of some kind. Rose sprinkled them on the wound. The others watched as Rose chanted something they could not understand.

Quinn, Rembrant, And The Professor watched on in amazment as the wound on Wade's head healed itself right before their eyes.
"What the devil" said Arutro in amazment.
Rose looked up at him and smiled. "Spiritual Healing and witchcraft, my dear Mr. Arturo."
The Professor looked just as shocked that Rose knew his name.
"Our culture is also very telepathic, Mr. Arturo." smiled Rose again. "She should be fine in a few minutes."

Rose left the room, and left the three men in complete shock.
After a few minutes, Arturo broke the silence. "Well, it seems that on this world, people have learned to use more of their brain then on our world. Some have said, that psychics, and people who claim they have seen the future in visions, can simply use more of their brain than the average person."
"I've heard that too, Professor." said Quinn. "It's just a little freaky that these people can read my mind."
"Yeah, I'll say QBall." Rembrant added. "Not even your brain is your own privacy on this world."

A few minutes later the guys noticed Wade starting to sit up. Quinn rushed to her side. "Take it easy."
Wade ignored him and stood up. "Why? I feel perfectly fine. My head doesn't even hurt in the slightest."
Quinn noticed Rembrant and Arutro giving him a questioning glance.

Rose came into the room a few minutes later. "I see Miss Welles is awake. If you need any more of my services, you know where to find me. Have a nice stay on this world." Rose smiled at them before leaving the room.

Part 3

The sliders took a cab to The Dominion Hotel, and booked a room. The three men were still in shock.
"Mr. Mallory, how long do we have on this world full of mind invaders?" asked Arutro. It was clear he was annoyed.
Quinn opened the timer and read the display, "We leave tommorow afternoon."
Wade looked up from the newspaper she was reading. "I think the telepathic abilities are amazing, and that it would be a great gift to have."
The Professor laughed. "Miss Wells, Do you enjoy having someone reading your thoughts? Knowing your personal feelings?"
Wade shook her head, "Professor. I'm sure they dont read your personal feelings. That would be, mind rape or something!"
Arutro just nodded in agreement to Wade's last comment.

"I'm starving, what do you say we go out for something to eat?" said Rembrant.
"Sure, I'm with you Remmy." smiled Wade. Quinn and The Professor nodded as well. They left the room and headed for the cafe across the street from The Dominion.
A blond waitress came over to their table. "Hello travelers Quinn Mallory, Wade Welles, Rembrant Brown, and Professor Maximillion Arutro. What can I get for you?"
Wade just looked at the waitress in a state of shock.
"Wade, don't worry. We wouldn't dare pry into your private thoughts. We only read your most forward thoughts, in the first level of the brain." She smiled at Wade.
"Uhm, I'll have the grilled chicken" said Wade, still in a bit of shock. She was just so amazed at the mind reading ability of these people.
"Make that two" said Quinn.
"I'll have the roast beef sandwich" said Rembrant.
"Make it two of those, my dear" said Arturo.
The waitress took their menus, and left.

"Amazing. She knew what I was thinking." said Wade, still shocked.
Arutro smiled at her. "What is even more amazing, Miss Welles, Is that she knows we are travelers. If she knows we are Sliders, it doesn't seem to phase her in the least".
"Maybe another group of sliders came through here, Professor" said Rembrant.
"That is a possibility Mr. Brown." nodded Arturo.
"Guys, let's just be thankful this is a peacefull world. Where we dont have to run from bombs, and guys with guns" said Quinn.
Arutro chuckled. "You are very right my boy." He laughed again. "Let's just enjoy our stay."

Part 4

The sliders had gone back to their room to retire for the night. It was a little past midnight. Wade had been alseep for about an hour.

She started to toss and turn, tonight her dreams were so intense. Images flashed through her mind.

They were standing at the vortex. "We are going home Quinn" Wade exclaimed happily.
"Yeah, I can't belive it Wade" Quinn hugged her and twirled around.
"Quinn, I need to tell you. I love you!" Wade smiled at him.
Quinn smiled down at her, "Wade, I love you too"
Quinn gave her a hug, and a very passionate kiss.
"Wade, Will you marry me?" Quinn asked.
"YES!!" She exclaimed, grabbing his hand and jumping into the vortex.

She was standing at the altar, dressed in a beautiful white gown.
Her parents were there, Quinn's mother was there. Rembrant was there. And so was The Professor.
They exchanged their vows. And said there "I do's".
Rembrant sang at the reception.
Wade couldn't be happier. Staring into Quinn's blue eyes as they danced to Remmy's soft voice.

"Push Mrs. Mallory!" Yelled the doctor.
Wade pushed, and screamed. Pushed and screamed.
"Keep pushing sweetheart!" encouraged Quinn as he held her hand.
A few minutes later, Wade quit screaming.
Then the wonderful sound of her and Quinn's newborn baby crying, broke the silence.
"Here is your newborn baby boy" said the doctor.
"He's beautiful" said Quinn.

Wade jolted up from her sleep. She knew what she had just dreamt was not a nightmare. It seemed way too real. She could almost feel the emotions. Happiness at the wedding, the joy of seeing her son. Glancing at the clock at her bedside, she noticed the time was 8 am. Quinn and the others were still asleep.

Getting out of bed and getting dressed quietly, Wade knew where she had to go. She had to go talk to Rose. She wrote a note to the others and quietly left the hotel room.

Part 5

Wade knocked on the door to the old house. Rose opened the door, "I've been expecting you, my dear."

Rose led Wade into the healing room. "Rose, I had some kind of dreams last night. They seemed way to real. I could feel the emotion."
"Yes dear. You married Mr. Mallory, slid home, and had a baby boy" smiled Rose. "Am I correct?"

Wade nodded, shocked yet again at the mysterious powers of telepathy.
"Well dear. Those weren't dreams. They were visions." Rose explained.
"They will come true." After a brief pause, Rose looked Wade square in the eye. "My dear, you have a very special gift. You have the power to see visions of the future. Your gift is not powerful enough that you can make it happen at will, unfortuantly."

Wade was amazed. "But this is the first time, that something like this has happened."

Rose nodded. "And it will be the last. Being on this world, full of telepathic people, and the combination of your head injury. Also, the herbs I used to heal you, brought it out, the side effect of the medication."

Wade felt saddness rush through her, she thought the gift was wonderful. Till she heard she wouldn't be able to use it anymore.

"Don't be sad dear. You have seen your future. You must tell Mr. Mallory that the slide you are going to take today, will be the last one." Rose sounded very serious. "If you do not tell him of your vision, you will not stay on your world."

"I will, thank you very much Rose." Wade smiled at the old woman. "No thanks needed, dear. Don't forget to tell the boy you love him." Smiled Rose.

Part 6

Wade quickly ran up to the slider's room at The Dominion Hotel. The guys were eating breakfast and reading the newspaper.
"Where have you been?" asked Rembrant. He seemed angry, till he noticed the huge smile that was on Wade's face.
"I had a vision last night. I went to see Rose about it. The slide we take today will take us home." exclaimed Wade.

"What?" asked Quinn, kind of half believing what his ears just heard.
"Quinn! We are going home." Wade exclaimed.

"Miss Welles, because you dreamt we slid home, you belive some story an old woman told you?" The Professor was extremely doubtful.
"Professor! Rose is a very powerful telepath. She said that I had a vision, not a dream. A vision! And we are really going home." exclaimed Wade.
"I'll belive it when I see it, Miss Welles." Arutro yelled back.

Quinn was still taking in what he had heard. He didn't really belive it. But, he didn't want to show his doubt towards Wade.
He finished his breakfast, and showered. Preparing for the slide, hoping she was right. He didn't want to see her hopes being crushed after she had them so high.

Part 7

A few hours later, the sliders were in the park, waiting out their last few minutes on Telepathic world. "Thank goodness we are getting off this world with no privacy" laughed The Professor.

Quinn activated the vortex when the timer beeped. Arutro quickly jumped through.
"Looks like that man is in a hurry" laughed Rembrant before jumping through.
"Quinn, we are actually going home" Wade smiled at Quinn.
"I can't belive it" Quinn replied. He gave her a hug.
"Quinn, there's something I need to tell you. I love you" Wade said, after gathering her courage.
"I love you too" Quinn smiled. He gave her a really big hug, and a passionate kiss.

"Woah dejavu" thought Wade to herself.

"Wade, Will you marry me?" Quinn asked. He had been wanting to ask her for months.
"YES!!"
Quinn hugged her, and they jumped through the vortex together.

When they came out and landed on the ground. Quinn checked the timer, "We have 24 hours to see if this is really home."

They spent that 24 hours meeting up with Quinn's mother, Wade's parents, Arutro met up with his colleagues, and Rembrant met up with his manager.
Quinn decided they were home after he viewed his journal tapes.

Four months later, Wade and Quinn were married. It was exactly the way Wade had visioned. Then about a year later, Quinn Mallory JR. was born.
His godfathers, Rembrant Brown and Maximillion Arturo.

Rembrant became a overnight sensation once he returned. He released a CD which went triple platinum.

Maximillion Arturo went back to teaching. Him and Quinn wrote a book about their sliding travels.
