The Plains

"The tour sounds good to me.." You say fearfully, hoping that this stallion isn't the one leading the tour.

The stallion relaxes suddenly, grinning at down at you. "Sorry about the scare. Dark Star gave me the entire speech for greeting visitors and he gets annoyed if I change it. Welcome to the Plains, Wanderer. My name is Primary Colors."

You blink, shocked by the massive stallion's sudden change in temper. "Who is Dark Star?" You ask, wondering who would be big enough to boss around this massive stallion. Then his strange name registers and you study him. You just about start laughing. What a name for a stallion who carried the colors of red, blue and yellow!

The stallion flashes an amused smile. "He used to be the Guardian of the plains, but now he's too involved in his Tarsuinn to have time for it anymore, so I got the job. He's a big, black Anditan Asrire stallion. If you've been through here before you may have met him."

'What are Anditan Asrire? And what's a Tarsuinn?" You ask, struggling with the unfamiliar words.

"They're a new type of Unicorn that have recently moved into this realm. Tarsuinn is like a herd, except it's for Asrire." He answers patiently.

"So what type of unicorn are you?" You ask, hoping that it doesn't offend him.

He rolls his eyes at this,"Well, it's a long story. To give you the short version I'm half Anditan Asrire and half Portal Asrire, and neither half wants to put up with me. My size and black coloring comes from my Anditan parent, and my golden mane and crimson and cobalt markings come from my Asrire parent. " You're about to ask another question, but he stops it with a wave of a hoof. "If you really want to know more about Asrire, I can show you to
The Hollow to visit the Anditan Asrire, or I can show you to the Tarsuinn of Darklight to visit the Asrire. I won't be going with you though. I'm afraid the other Asrire aren't fond of my presence."

You start to ask another question, this time he doesn't stop you. "Why don't they like you?"

Primary Colors shakes his head, not willing to answer that question. "It's a long story." Is all he will say.

You have one final question. "So does that mean you don't mind if I borrow a creature or two?"

He scowls at you, disappointed that you would even mention such a thing. "Just because I'm not fond of the speech, and I'm a half breed doesn't mean that I won't hunt you down if you remove one of the creatures of the plains from their homes. Got that?" He continues to scowl at you until you nod sheepishly. He studies you for a moment longer before asking, "So are you heading on the tour or to visit the Asrire?"

You ponder this decision...
