The Plains
You follow Flame Wonder to the next group of Ze'I'on. With relief you notice that you are heading in the opposite direction of the ledge. The stallion points out two more of his kind that are living in the area. One is a handsome gray stallion with a black mane, the other is a tall blue stallion with gray markings and dragon wings! Both of them trot over to speak with you. The Gray Stallion reaches you first and begins to introduce himself, "Good day Wanderer, My name is Shadow Vision."
The blue stallion reaches you," Halo Wanderer. I am Soaring Skies." You stare at the stallions wings. Soaring Skies smirks at you,"Like my wings wanderer?" You nod,"They're very beautiful." The Blue Ze'I'on grins,"Well, I like to think so." Shadow Vision buts in,"Ha! They have to be. You wouldn't believe the amount of time he spends preening them." Flame Wonder looks at Soaring Skies with his eye ridges raised,"Oh really?" Soaring Skies snorts once and glares at Shadow and Flame,"Oh, fine. I admit it. They're my pride and joy. Okay?" You see that Soaring Skies eye's are glittering with a dangerous light. The other two see it as well and back off a few steps. "Those two are just jealous that they don't have wings like mine.", Soaring Skies tells you.
You search for a good reply to this, but decide that
it's probably best to stay silent. A large black stallion dashes up, bringing a relief
to the tension. Flame Wonder grins at you proudly,"This is my son, Black Flame."
You can see the family resemblance. The grinning stallion has a flaming mane and
tail just like Flame Wonder. He grins at you for a moment, but doesn't speak. Even
though he's grinning at you, you can see that he's not very comfortable with your
presence.
