I know most of you are cringing at this moment. A shrine to Chibi Usa? Is this girl on drugs? What can she possibly be thinking about as she types this? Well, despite what I have grown to know...Chibi Usa isn't all that bad.
"But, why?" you may ask. Well, she may be a little brat who's so sappy, she basically throws cavities at you, but she's actually growing on me. She's so....CUTE! In the manga, her hair looks so soft and pink, almost like cotton candy. And if you don't think of her personality, and just look at her, you find yourself saying, "Aw..."
Chibi Usa is Sailormoon's daughter (from the future!), and boy does it show! Not only do they look alike, but they act alike. Both tend to be whiny and immature! But when a moment of crisis comes, they (usually...) put all differences aside, and stop arguing.
DiC has done a bad thing to this poor girl. (Not to insult the American Version.) They made her voice so annoying...so dreadful, that when people hear "Chibi Usa" or "Sailor Chibimoon" they cringe, and usually go into mild nausea and so on. But she can be pretty awesome at times. Take this, for example: When the Wiseman turns Chibi Usa evil, she turns into the Black Lady. She's beautiful. She's seductive. She's...grown up! *GASP* But most of all, she does some serious ass kicking:
Some of you anti-cute people may be thinking, "Well, this little brat is incapable of love!" Oh, well...you're just a bit WRONG. She does fall in love with Helios, a.k.a Pegasus, who comes to her in her dreams...and it's just so cute!
So, to wrap this up, please...I beg you! When you hear this lil girl's name, don't cringe. Think of how she uses annoyance and stubborness to hide the fact that she's scared. After all, she's no longer in her own world. And please think kindly of her every once in a while. She is a Senshi, ya know. (And I bet you can't say that you are without lying). And for all of you Chibi Usa fans, who just adore her, good for you!
