The Leaving (part 4)

(It looks like they just left some planet. Look at this radar.) Icis said. (Yeah, maybe we can go back there.) I replied, not sure what to do. She seemed glad I said that. We decided I shout, steer the ship, and she can control the weapons. We only had a Skrit Na ship on radar. No Yeerks. Luckily.

I saw a blue planet coming up. Small. Looked cold. I figured it was an edge of a Solar system.

Next came a bigger planet. Also seemed cold.

Then a bigger one. That also seemed cold.

After that was a planet that had to have life on it. It had rings, and a mixture of colors. Next came a planet ;biggest I'd seen yet. I figured maybe it was a star, there were so many moons around it.

Next came a small red planet. It took us 1 earth year to get to the green and blue planet.

(I can't control the steering!)I said.

I can't fire any weapons either!) Icis yelled. We started twirling down. I saw blue rushing at me quickly. (We are dead,) Icis said.

That's when there was a splash. Water flooded in the ship.We had no choice but to get out.

We opened the hatch, and swam to shore. There were odd creatures up ahead. They flew in the air. That's when it hit me. (Those are like birds!) Icis said. (No really?) I said sacastically. But actually I was about to say that too. We both ran to a meadow. Surrounded by trees.

There was a box up ahead though. It had weird creatures everywhere. (This is home,) I said sadly.
