I thought it was sad when Rachel said goodbye Tobias in the end as if he was not going to return. It is even more sad that Tobias won't be in his human form for a while. I really liked this episode, Although Chapman's acting could of been better. Rachel is a great narrarator in the books and the shows. I am going to miss Tobias!
As I said before to a number of disappointed fans, this show is going another direction. Although it has the same title, and roughly the same plot, it is going the other direction. When I spoke to the director (Timothy Bond) around June 98, he said that the show will go through more than the book at a faster and more complicated rate. But, he also said, the were originally supposed to make a "exact copy" of the book into a screen play form. Also, just rewrite every book into a screenplay as well as adding a few new stories. But, it became to large and complicated and time consuming. And let me tell you, television doesn't have time. So, they created two pilot screenplays. One, an exact copy of the 1st book, the other one is the one you see before you. If anyone wants to see the screenplay that didn't make it, e- mail me and I'll give you more info.
I then caught up with the head writer, Jeffery Vlaming , and asked him what he thought animorphs was leading to and he said that he knew when and how it will end. He also gave me some spoilers from this season. He also showed me episodes 1-10 (Which was all they had at that point) It was impressive for a nick show. It didn't have that many corny jokes or music. It was dark. Like it is supposed to be. Well,. Thats it for now, see you all later.
