Who's Who in Fruitland,Idaho

When you talk about Fruitland, only one thing comes to mind, nothing. If there were ever a galactic central point, Fruitland somehow manages to be the place farthest from it. And when you think about people and important business people did at Fruitland, you can’t help but draw another blank. Fruitland is a bunch on nobodies doing nothing, and we have a long time to do it. But on the scale of nothingness some people do less of nothing than others, and that is what this paper will be about. So all aboard for the Boredom Express to Fruitland.

As far as extracirricular and scholasticevents go the only things that matter are cross country meets, and a few select subjects, both of which nobody cares for, but I will talk about anyway. If you what a good foreign language class German is to only class to take. You learn ten times as much as Spanish; it is easier, funnier, and Mr. Strough teaches it. German is just one of the many classes taught at this fine institute.

Since this stinking rat hole has no source of entertainment, you have to go somewhere else, but since somewhere else is where we would rather be and because this paper is about Fruitland, I can’t talk about somewhere else now, can I? Why somebody doesn’t just build a source of entertainment and clean up is beyond me. Perhaps it is because you have a batter chance of getting two dimes and a nickel back when you swallow a quarter, than getting a somebody in Fruitland.

But, hey, Fruitland isn’t all bad; no, no we dun got ourselves a whole mess of places that dish out the finest vittles you ever et. We have a Subway (highly recommended), Uncle Brians Famous Pizza (used to be good, but I am unsure now), Nichol’s Steak House (I have never been there), Lloyds Apple Bin, and a Pick n’ Pack (I suggest you stay away from there).

This town lacks many sources of entertainment other than eating, sleeping, running (yea), and watching TV. Regarding people, lets see: best male runner Kelcey Derrick, female runner Jennifer Fewkes, best cook Sharel Holm, best teacher Mr. Strough (this is probably just because I have him three times a day, four counting cross country, and he probably has a chance to brainwash me), and last but not least best useless knowledge guy Will McDonald.

I hope that this has been helpful and informative. In closing to quote the immortal words of Socrates, “I drank what?”
