Betrayed
There is a pain here
in my heart and in my mind
picking away at my sanity
a pain most have seen or will see
during their time on this earth
it is the pain of betrayal
betrayed by one you trusted
betrayed by one you loved
betrayed for no reason
or any reason
no reason ever good enough
and so still it hurts
still it picks away at me
can I forgive
or will I the next betrayer be
