Struggle Within
There are things struggling within me
things that all want control
one is a desire to hurt her and bring her down
another is to have her forever in my arms
a third, to let all thoughts of her go and be only a friend
so many thoughts and feelings for her all wanting control
and so many others battling too
can I make it here
will I be ok without my family and friends
how long can I put off doing laundry
what will win this battle who will be standing at the final bell
I'm not quite certain
only time will tell
