A Man
there is a man
who lives in fear
afraid of everything
that he sees and hears
and as people try to comfort him
and dry his tears
he backs away and blinks it away
"there are no tears, go away"
was all the man would ever say
so they leave him be
and he cries once more
he can't let them see
he's afraid to be abused once more
so hw walks around hiding his feelings
staring at nothing, his mind reeling
the emptines you see on his exterior
is but a reflection of the emptiness within
