Whenever the Wind Blows

There's a cliff not far from here
Where everything is blue
And whenever the wind blows
She comes to watch the ovean from her lofty view
As the wind blows back her hair
And the birds fly around her
I wonder what she thinks about

Is she happy?
Does she come for the joy of the view
Is she lonely
Does she come to watch the sea for a love gone astray
Is she angry
Does she come to wash her troubles away
Is she crying
Does she come to mix her tears
With those of the world

There's a cliff not far from here
Where everything is blue
And whenever the wind blows
She comes to watch quietly
And it makes me wonder
If we can ever understand things completely
