I never meant to hurt her
To hurt anybody
It's as if I have no self control
As I sit there
Staring blankly at the screen
The words come flying out
Words to hurt her
Words to make her suffer
Words to make her feel
Just a little of the agony swirling within me
I almost always stop myself
Before they fly away
Almost invisibly to her staring blankly at her screen
Because the anger passes quickly
And fades away to sorrow
That I would even think to hurt her
In this, or any way
So the cursor flashes there
Waiting for something
And the first logical thing that flashes
Into my mind
Is the tiny letter "k"
And I click to buttons
And the message is on it's way
