I watch you play with your hair
I watch you smile with your friends
I watch you laugh and cry
But I can't reach you
I can't seem to get in
I can get around your love for him
It's a wall keeping us apart
I can get in to let even a friendship start
So I sit and watch and wonder why
I sit and wait for a second try
I sit and try not to cry
I missed my chance at your love
And I don't even know why
