How are you today
Are you feeling ok
Are you ready to go
I'm here to take you ya know
We'll go out and have a good time
And when we come back
There won't be any time
No time for anything
You'll want to get away by then
You'll go back to your friends
The date will have fizzled
I made a bad impression
Somehow my well laid plans crumbled
Everything I tried failed
Nothing turned out right
And you hate me now
You don't want to have anything to do with me
You wouldn't care if I burned in hell
You wouldn't care if I died tomorrow
And now I collect my broken heart and move on
Maybe someone will hear my sad song
Maybe they will feel sorry for me and take me in
Maybe one day I can stand on my own feet again
Maybe something will turn out right
Nothing went as planned tonight
