Land designs are not an uncommon phenomena. Peru is full of designs such as the one below. In fact there are over 100 pictures of animals and abstract designs throughout Peru only fully visible from the air. |

| Sand paintings by the Dogon people of Mali in West Africa reflect their conviction that they were visited in ancient times by extraterrestrial teachers. The Dogon claim that alien beings came to Earth from the star Sirius many thousands of years ago. The Dogon have no modern Astronomical equipment, but possess a detailed knowledge of Astronomy. They say they learned this from the Aliens. For centuries the Dogon have been able to locate the star Sirius in the night sky. They also claim that it is orbited by two stars that are not visible to the naked eye. The existence of one of the stars was established in the mid 19th Century. If the second star is discovered, it will be impressive evidence of the Dogon' myths. |

The Pyramids. According to common perception, were built about 2500 B.C.E with the begrudging help of great armies of slaves, by the ancient pharaohs of Egypt as tombs for preserving their royal bodies. Pyramids were supposedly meant to be monuments to a pharaoh's greatness, filled with great treasures for the afterlife. This understanding may be incorrect. New theories date the Pyramids and Sphinx to around 10,000-11,000 B.C.E., about 8000 years older than originally thought, long before there should have been people in that area. This is suggested by water erosion clearly visible on the monuments. |
It should be noted there hasn't been water on the Giza Plateau for about 12,000 years! There is, however, another interesting theory that supports an older more mysterious origin for the monuments at Giza. The position of the Great Pyramids on the Earth is mathematically proportionate to how the constellation of Orion would have appeared in the sky in 10,500 B.C.E. and 10,500 B.C.E. only. Is this a coincidence? What is the signifigance of the date? We can only guess. And if there was a civilazion in Egypt at that time capable of such extraordinary engineering, where did they vanish to? |
Thirty times larger than the Empire State Building, the Pyramid's features are so large they can be seen from the Moon. Its base covers 13.6 acres (equal to seven midtown Manhatten city blocks), each side being greater than five acres in area. Only a solid stone mountain could endure the Pyramid's immense weight. And indeed, a flat solid granite mountain happens to be located just beneath the surface of the ground directly under the Pyramid. |

The Pyramid is located at the exact center of the Earth's land mass. That is, its East-West axis corresponds to the longest land parallel across the Earth, passing through Africa, Asia, and America. Similarly, the longest land meridian on Earth, through Asia, Africa, Europa, and Antarctica, also passes right through the Pyramid. Since the Earth has enough land area to provide 3 billion possible building sites for the Pyramid, the odds of it's having been built where it is are 1 in 3 billion.
Like 20th century bridge designs, the Pyramid's cornerstones have balls and sockets built into them. Several football fields long, the Pyramid is subject to expansion and contraction movements from heat and cold, as well as earthquakes, settling, and other such phenomena. After 4,600 years it's structure would have been significantly damaged without such construction.
While the bulk of the Pyramid's core was constructed of 4,000- to 40,000-pound blocks of soft limestone, the outer layer of the Pyramid was made of a beautifully bright, protective layer of polished stone. These outer "casing stones" are missing today because about 600 years ago they were stolen.

Strange sights have appeared in the skies long before space flight-or manned flight of any kind was possible. And in each century these visions took on identities that tell much about the world view of those who saw them. In antiquity, for example, people discerned angelic messengers; in the nineteenth century, they saw dirigibles. Today, awed observers look skyward and see glowing envoys from other worlds. And yet, a common theme seems to link such sightings from earliest history through today. |
Gravity-bound humans, gazing at the endless sky, seem always to have felt that there is more to existence than can be seen on the Earth's surface, that life might come in more shapes than those we know, that we are not alone among the myriad stars sparkling in the boundless cosmos. We're seeing something up in the sky. We can only imagine it's true identity.
