Night of the Solstice Review

This is Elwyn, the Quislai, from Night of the Solstice.

I personally loved Night of the Solstice. It was an escape from the boredom I got from readin so many other books (Not by L.J. Smith though. She's never boring). This, her first book, is quite original and takes place in a world from only L.J. Smith's imagination. This is no one elses world, so it's totally new to all of us. That alone makes the book worth reading, but the other is for the characters. The main characters are Alys, Janie, Charles, and Claudia Hodges-Bradley, Morgana Shee, a sorceress, Cadal Forge, the evil sorcerer, The Vixen, Morgana's familiar, and Elwyn, the delightfully dumb Quislai (They're like faeries.). You can find out a little more about the book here. My personal favorite characters were Janie because she's really smart and makes wise-ass comments, and Morgana Shee because she's a bitch too, but she's a smart bitch. There are many things that I think are implied in the book such as Morgana and Cadal's relationship. I personally think they had been in love and it was a tough challenge for Morgana to fight Cadal in any way. I hope I'm not spoiling the book for everyone. So if you love fantasy and wonderful characters, then read Night of the Solstice.

Tommy gives "Night of the Solstice"...

...two thumbs up!
