Outpost 721
Once finished the drills against a Klingon attack on the station, and
some
evaluations done, the two SAMURAI-class Corvettes ROBERT E LEE and WITCH
OF
ENDOR have departed escorting a SIJAN-class Transporter towards the
Portal.
They have been ordered to run drills on boarding Klingon vessels and
getting
boarded by them, so action is about to come.

Attempts by the CO of the Athene to glean more information from the
Secretive Herc was met only with a referral to SB Omega... upon
contacting Omega the Admiral informed them that information on The
Artemis, Cpt. Davis' Yacht was on a "Need to know" basis... the
communication however revealed itself to be an *UNUSUAL* fake.
The Plot thickens as the representative of the Heracles stationed on
the Athene has some form of psychotic episode leaving him ranting and
crying. Indeed, the crew of the Athene has just discovered that someone
is faking transmissions between the two ships.. but why? and who?

Having caused major losses to the Klingon Fleet, only six of the
original
thirteen ship strike force survived the battle. The fleet has finally
pulled
out, before the Klingons were capable of following. The majority of the
ships have limped into rendezvous with part of the main battlefleet,
with
the exception of the Gryphon, which is currently trailing behind at Warp
one.

shore leave on Starbase Omega, whilst the ship is undergoing some much
needed repairs.

DS 101
Answering a distress call, the USS HIKARU, support ship of DS 101 has
encountered the Nebula Dwellers, though they don't know it. After the
encounter, the FO thinks himself to be Selak. While that is his real
name, he has gone by Taavek for his own safety for years as the Vulcan
Isolationist movement wanted Selak dead and Selak faked his own death,
becoming Taavek. This change in name confused everyone on the Hikaru
who knew him only as Taavek, the 2O/CSO excepting...Zack also calling
Taavek Selak. The CEO Romana has been replaced by someone else, but no
one on the Hikaru noticed, in fact, Bel Shaane thinks he is married to
the replacement.
Capt Alyza, feeling that some was wrong with Taavek, contacted the
Hikaru. The use by her first officer of the name Selak confirmed her
suspicions. She thus ordered scans done by the CMO on board the Hikaru,
to be forwarded to Dr. Ling on the station. She also ordered the CNS,
who had not gone on the mission to answer the distress call, to
investigate. Following the subspace transmission, Tink poped over and
has begun looking into the matter.

USS HERACLES
The Heracles is in pursuit of Captain Davies who disappeared several
days ago in her Captain's Yacht, the USS ARTEMIS. They have used
subterfuge to persuade the USS ATHENE to aid their search, but Captain
Simms and crew have become suspicious. LtCmdr Berdel has joined the
ATHENE crew in order to inspire their cooperation, but he has suffered
numerous physical trauma due to his erratic psychic abilities.
Meanwhile, Captain Davies and her old acquaintance (an elderly Romulan
pirate named Ardra) have found the base of Ardra's arch-nemesis,
Malaki.
They are preparing to take Malaki down with extreme malice after he
murdered Davies' husband and sent her the body in a torpedo casing. He
has also informed them that he has her son and plans to kill him as a
further part of his revenge scheme.

Intelligence Report for Cocoon Fleet - Commander Sellush
A freighter was attacked recently by an unknown entity.
Deep Space 101 is investigating the incident.
A ceasefire has been established with the Na'Chem. The Juun response
has been unexpectedly reserved.
Talks have resolved the recent 'pirate' problems in the Irimida Sector
Klingon Situation Report for Starfleet - Commander Inhoff:
Communications between the Federation and The Cocoon have been
terminated by a Klingon task force striking from an unknown base.
Reports and communications to the Federation are currently being
carried by escort vessels to the vital conveys that supply the Cocoon.
Rumours of a Klingon attack on The Cocoon are circulating within
the Federation. The tenth fleet is being sent to provide backup
should the rumours be true.
A communication from an unknown reliable source has provided
The Cocoon Fleet with more solid information and a defense fleet
is massing at SB OMEGA to repel the Klingon assault.
The USS HORIZON is leading a task force of 12 starships, including
the USS GRYPHON in a pre-emptive strike against the 600+ strong
Klingon assault fleet.
SFSec continue to investigate the apparent assasination of the Klingon
Ambassador on Arkanis by the former CinC of Starfleet, who was killed
later by the Klingons.
The USS SAGAN is currently on it's way to retreive the SFSec team and
complete the mission in hopes of stopping the Klingon assault on
The Cocoon.

Juun intelligence update:
Following the ceasefire agreements, the Na-Chem are allowing selected
Starfleet personnel to inspect their secret bases. Several hundred Juun
prisoners have been released following the long term prison sentence of
General Taing and his closest associates before a federal court. The
situation on Juun is calmer than anticipated, the relief about the end
of organized hostilities outweighing the expected outrage about the
Federation's role in the uncovering of the genocide.
