USS ATHENE
Remodulating the sensors to work at a higher frequency has allowed the
crew of the Athene to gain an image (however unreliable it MIGHT be) of
the surface of the mysterious planet they now orbit.
A series of power sources all interlinked seem to attract what is
believed to be millions of the strange creatures the crews of the Athene
and Krieger encountered previously.
At the present moment the Away tema is gathering in the transporter
room ready for a chance to see what this planet is really like on the
surface.

USS KATANA
Lt.. Rickson was angry to find out that the 'old man' who was behind
the trap which led to his foot injury, was also behind the entire
experiment the officers of the Katana had been subjected to. The 'old
man' Rickson discovered was called Rovertil and was chief scientist on
board the space station. From the reaction of one of the younger
scientists, it was clear Rovertil had been acting alone when he
deliberately caused the injury to Rickson.
At that moment, another being entered the room, from the reaction of the
scientists she was obviously a leader amongst these people. Mistress
Akrina explained to Rickson, Tokathh and Kotler, that the scientist,
Rovertil had been conducting his experiment unlawfully and had broken
several rules concerning treatment of members of alien cultures. Akrina
announced that Rovertil's experiment was suspended, until she made a
decision about what was to be done with the Katana's crew.
While this was going on, back in the cave, Cmdr. Thelek, Dr. Bra'an and
Krwn, stumbled into the transporter field which led to the space
station. When they reappeared, hey were surrounded by soldiers, a short,
but violent melee ensued in which the officers of the Katana were
victorious...

A large party in "The ships edge"
was enjoyed by all but a very silly ensign picking a fight with a
drunken
Klingon
Resulting in a broken hand and a brused pride
also there seems to be some mental anguish in the newly 'Joined' Cyrix
Brakos
two conciousneses(sp?) fighting for dominance which worrys commander
Tergin
and Cyrix Brakos is currently confined to quarters AND the brigg
??!!
anyway a new CEO arrived aboard he is a Horta called Sancho Valderez
and was also serprised at the fact that Brakos resides inside his
quarters
and the brigg?!
The CSO Kuvak seems to have a little less understanding about Dancing
then
others
at the phrase
'Cut some rug' He referred to starfleet protocols of
damaging starfleet property, not to mention that he should check weather
a
conduit had ruptured under those
who were dancing, this was a strange display for the Vulcan to see
indeed.....
While at the party a comunique came in from outpost 721 that the super
cruser
USS CANARVEN was destroyed by the Na'chem the Horizon has gone to
investigate at full warp
meanwhile the crew continues their relations..............
and ponders on which mission should take priority from people dying from
desease or a
renagade ship
will the new TRYFAN class ship use its seperation capability?

USS GRYPHON
The USS GRYPHON is still enroute to investigate the virus found on
M'Sagro III.
In the meanwhile all officers are busy with an holoprogramm designed by
the CNS Lt Firekey which purpose is to aid in the bonding of the
newly set up crew.
The alpha team, consisting of the senior officers, is still in search of
their second clue and has lost contact to the CEO Lt Halifax who got
lost while passing some nasty rapids. The remaining officers found out
later that their CEO was taken away by unidentified creatures.

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The
Juun have made no official comment.
Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure
of genecide commited against the Na'Chem by the Juun are displaying
signs of dissension following Federation aid of Na'Chem colonies.
A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against the Juun. The Juun are increasing pressure for Starfleet
to respond to this threat with force.
The USS CURIE and USS KATANA are still MIA.
Amgine Sector Report:

Deep Space 101 is currently rebuilding following the discovery
that the station itself was a living creature, known as 'The Keeper'.
Following a battle with the Nebula Dwellers The Keeper has begun
hibernation for the lifespan of the Vulcan it absorbed.
The Federation Embassy on the Dergrad homeworld, Soc'Nu, reported
that it was under attack by Dergrad rebels before communications were
cut off. A ship has been dispatched to investigate.
M'Sagro III is quarantined following the outbreak of a virus that is
slowly killing the human population. A ship has been dispatched to
combat the virus.
Beyond the Portal:

The Cardassian Union has recovered the majority of the planets occupied
by the Klingons 40 years ago. Their fleet continues to advance to those
planets yet to fall. The Klingon defense is limited - with the majority
of the occupied zone Klingon fleet destroyed during 'The Battle for the
Cocoon'.
The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Further negotiations between the Federation and the Klingon Empire are
expected to proceed shortly on the historical planet 'Khitomer'.
Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent
war.
The wormhole at DS 12 has yet to stabilise sufficiently for traffic to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.
