USS ATHENE
As Simms formally retieves command of the Athene he is brought back to
many of the more mundane realities of his life on ship. Most obvious
is
the boy Galen and the changing face of the Athene crew. the officers
meet to decide what to do about the planet.
The CO finds himself mediating between the zCMO and the CsciO each
with a very different interpretation of the actions of the now
officially sentient planet, each desiring a very different path of
action. The crew are assigned their tasks, the goal is clear; freeing
the hostages trapped in the planetary mind, talking to it, trying to
figure out what it wants and what it is.

Beaver Squadron: Commodore Lowen Punn

USS HORIZON
Cyrix Brakos, Lt. Cmdr. Tergin, and Lt.(jg) Canon have all entered a
telepathic dreamscape where they interact. With matters seeming to go
wrong
with no way to fix them, Captain Garn enters the dreamscape to attempt
to
help. After coming to certain realizations of themselves the officer
awaken
from the dreamscape, all somehow changed for the better. Most return
directly to their duties.
Relief efforts continued on the surface of Stalus III now dealing
with the Na'Chem refugees. The HORIZON then transports up what crew
are
leaving the planet, leaving many more to deal with the ongoing crisis.
The Tar, a Romulain Warbird and her crew are taken into custody. The
ship is towed via tractor beam as the HORIZION makes for home. Though
P'Ghal defected with his family he seems to have a secret even the
federation cannot have.

The PHOENIX has arrived at SB OMEGA after chasing down the original
PHOENIX. She is currently taking some R&R, while rumors of the
Captains departure are spreding throughout the ship. A Few of the
senior crew are presently in the Holodeck exchaning stories, as the
lounge is closed for the moment.

DS 101
Personality changes seem in vogue on DS101 as Q rids himself of a
malevolent entity and Ambassador Grayson has a change of heart after a
meeting with Vedek. The Ambassador gets Q to start setting up an
archaelogical shop on the station. Lt.Platt takes control of the
situation on deck 51 and the wouldbe hostage takers are soon in the
holding cells, although the investigation into what happened soon
brings
worrying news. A possible link between the Dergrad and the Dominion.
The HIKARU escapes the battle zone and is soon rejoined by Doyal,
Hogan
and Tink after they are helped to escape by Commander Loquoren. The
trip
home is complicated as they recieve warning from SFSec that a Dergrad
'reception committee' lies in their way.

USS CURIE
A vessel from the Ice Planet has come to the ship
demanding Kelen return with them for trial, over the
polar melt. Several theories have been put forward
including scanning Kelen's memory and Delphi array
data sifting, to find out what really happened. Kelen
is still protesting his innocence, and that a Star Fleet
cadet could have fixed the problem

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The
Juun have made no official comment.
Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure
of genecide commited against the Na'Chem by the Juun are displaying
signs of dissension following Federation aid of Na'Chem colonies.
A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against the Juun. The Juun are increasing pressure for Starfleet
to respond to this threat with force.
Amgine Sector Report:

Deep Space 101 is currently rebuilding following the discovery
that the station itself was a living creature, known as 'The Keeper'.
Following a battle with the Nebula Dwellers The Keeper has begun
hibernation for the lifespan of the Vulcan it absorbed.
The Federation Embassy on the Dergrad homeworld, Soc'Nu, reported
that it was under attack by Dergrad rebels before communications were
cut off. A ship has been dispatched to investigate.
M'Sagro III is quarantined following the outbreak of a virus that is
slowly killing the human population. A ship has been dispatched to
combat the virus.
Beyond the Portal:

The Cardassian Union has recovered the majority of the planets
occupied
by the Klingons 40 years ago. Their fleet continues to advance to
those
planets yet to fall. The Klingon defense is limited - with the
majority
of the occupied zone Klingon fleet destroyed during 'The Battle for
the
Cocoon'.
The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in
the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Further negotiations between the Federation and the Klingon Empire are
expected to proceed shortly on the historical planet 'Khitomer'.
Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent
war.
The wormhole at DS 12 has yet to stabilise sufficiently for traffic to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.
