USS ATHENE
As The Athene takes says goodbye to old friends and takes on new crew
(The enigmatic Jet FCO Ensign Merc) Av'ern is still being investigated
by SF Intelligence.
On the Athene an accident occurs in engineering causing a plasma
coolant conduit to be ruptured, resulting in 3 casualties though it
could have been more if not for the timely intervention of the Jet.
Commander Crenshaw a starfleet observer and evaluator onboard the
Athene takes these events into account, Av'ern however is convinced
that
Crenshaw's past in SF Int makes him envolved in the attempt to recruit
him.

USS YEAGER
Two new personnel have been added to the ship, Lt.(jg) Tim Anderson as
the
new chief of OPS and Lt.(jg) C'Fang the new DAO (Delphi Array
Operator).
Both have made important contributions as they arrived during the time
that
prior CEO, Lt. Sancho Valderez sabotaged the ship, killed 2 StarFleet
Officers, and was himself killed in an attempt to stop him.
The ship continues at impulse pending the repair of the warp engines,
but
without a Chief Engineer, these repairs may take substantially longer.
It
appears that the problems they were originally sent to investigate may
be
in the Renrael Sector, rather than the Gaia sector as initially
believed.

USS SOJOURNER-TRUTH
The SOJOURNER-TRUTH runs into warp core problems. During the
investigation of the warp core injectors seizing no problem can be
determined. The injectors then for no reason become unfrozen and again
the
ship has warp. No explanation save bad feelings something is amiss can
explain the problem.
Lt(jg) Mara'Ooarks, an Etyri (resembles a 6'6 humanoid eagle with an
extra pair of prehensile "arms"), arrives and assumes the CSO
position.
Ensign Phillip Drake, nicknamed Ace in the Academy, arrives as the
ships FCO.
The SOJOURNER continues on towards the Balorr Sector.

USS HORIZON
Lt. Brakos wishes were to be euthanasiaized and such was done.e
sudden comatose state of Lt. Hanara was still in a comotose state, the
BLACKWELL, a medical ship would be by to take her to better medical
faiclities. The fall of these to officers left the ranks of the
HORIZON
unsettled.
The HORIZON readies itself to move out on a mapping mission to the
Tass sector; unexplored, in which they are to investigate some of the
unpopulated M-class planets.

USS PHOENIX
The USS PHEONIX is asigned to infiltrate, and destroy a possible
Dominion base.
A new crew member, FO Lt. Paul Simons, joins the crew.

Bel Shaane notes that both Alyza are beginning to sound and act more
akin to Bajoran resistance than star fleet officers, is this being
caused by their background, their situation or is it the effect of the
Orb?
Meanwhile, with only 3 hours till the arrival of five more Galor-class
warships. USS SHADOW finishes her preparations and heads down to the
planet on its rescue attempt. Commander Firestorm joins Hogan and
Doyle
in the guise of a Klingon trader. Their departure leaves Lt. Platt in
command of the station. With Q wondering what has became of the 'evil'
entity that was once a part of him, things might not be as quiet as
Platt expects.

Be'Torra's life signs are lost whilst involved in an away
mission. Three probes are launched, for OMEGA, DS101 and
OP721 as a result.

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun
have
made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun
government following the exposure of genocide committed against the
Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war
with
the Na'Chem. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and
investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter.
A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against
the Juun. An intense investigation into the reports of Juun Genocide
against the Na'Chem is also being investigated.
An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several
Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate.
The newest addition to the Cocoon Fleet the USS SOJOURNER TRUTH has
been
launched on her maiden voyage.
Amgine Sector Report:

Recent Reports from the USS SITTING BULL report that DS 101 has
disspeared. The investigation as to the stations current location
continues.
A cure of the virus on M'Sagro III has been found.
Beyond the Portal:

The Cardassian Union has recovered the majority of the planets
occupied
by the Klingons 40 years ago. Their fleet continues to advance to
those
planets yet to fall. The Klingon defense is limited - with the
majority
of the occupied zone Klingon fleet destroyed during 'The Battle for
the Cocoon'.
The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in
the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the
Federation's top ambassadors have been sent although the talks still
proceed at a snails pace.
Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent
war.
The eighth fleet is the only fleet so far to regain her numbers to
what
they were before the war.
The wormhole at DS 12 has yet to stabilize sufficiently for traffic to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.
