Cady halts the Retribution's attack on the Horizon. He is now convinced he
made a grave mistake believing Chug and he's intent on saving the Horizon.
The SpecOps team beams aboard. On the Auditor, Lt 'n Galeda reprograms
their own repair drones and ten of them are beamed directly onto the
Retribution's hull. The Horizon, Athene and Yeager deploy the special
quantum beacons. Meanwhile, the bulk of the Telmarc Fleet is consistently
advancing towards OP721. Many of the defence stations are already destroyed.
The Telmarc government is sending out false news reports to the people,
claiming the Horizon has already been destroyed.
Lt Readdy is beamed from the Manticore back to the Yeager because of her
injuries.

In an attempt to curb the fungal growth on the station's power core, phaser
fire is used to try and kill the fungus. Instead it triggers fungal growth
and causes a malfunction of the turbolift sending Ens Roxette Hendan in a
plunge down the tube. Luckily, except for a few minor scrapes, she is
uninjured and makes her way to the Console Room where she begins her duty
shift. She picks up a non-Federation escape pod heading toward DS 101.
Meanwhile on the HIKARU two fresh Cardassian scout ships press their attack.
Brooks is able to re-route power to HIKARU's weapons and the battle is on.
The weapons on one of the scout ships is knocked out. As the HIKARU
attempts to lock a tractor beam on the damaged ship, the other Cardassian
ships disappear behind a cloaking shield. The occupants of the disabled
ship open a comm channel with the HIKARU. Before the shocked Starfleet
officers their opponents commit suicide. Taking the now empty ship in tow,
the Starfleet officers go onboard and investigate.
On one of the cloaked ships, SOLIDER OF WISDOM, Cpt Jolan Tolva retreats
from the battlefield. Tolva is convinced that Bachara will be victorious in
the end. The loss of his companions is seen as for the greater good. At
Bachara Central Command in the Fascinum system the Supreme Lord is very
displeased that the HIKARU was able to destroy two of his starships. It is
very difficult to import such ships from outside the Coccoon. Concern that
Starfleet could search the disabled ship's database and discover the
location of Bachara Central Command, he signals for the selfdestruction of
the capture ship.
