Lt. Dennis J. Hanson fell ill and found himself in sickbay due to a
mysterious toxin, but recovers to return to his friend Wendi. They
continue to miss lunch dates, however. He returned to the Bridge.
Later, he would leave for the senior staff meeting.
Ensign Jax grieves the loss of an old Earth-friend by the name of
Jack Lawson, killed by the Kourosans in the attack.
T'al and Syllis' game in the holodeck turns serious as the Andorian
feels ancient bloodlust and attempts to kill the Caitian Nightingale
officer. He was interrupted by a call from Chief Smallwood about a
potential theft of Starfleet property.
Lt Pelgrims takes a break from the ship refit and enjoys a LOTR-
type simulation on the holodeck. He leaves to go meet the new CSciO
Meredith Tanari in the Swamp. After a lengthy conversation over
drinks, a group of security guards come in and escorts Tanari away
with no explanation. Not even CSO Hanson knows anything about it.
After a few more hours of work, Pelgrims returns to the Station's
Mall level and literally runs into Cadet Nim Lister, where he plans
on a meal in Club 101. Lt T'al soon entered the club for a quick
bite.
Ensign Teel'a Hgwashh Nergh An'allein, a Cait/Kzin arrives on DS101
from the damaged USS Athene to become a Security Officer for the
station. Her first assignment is to work with Lt T'al on the
possible shuttle parts theft. He escorts her to the main shuttle bay
to begin the investigation.
Specialist Kari meets her sister Captain Alyza, CO of DS101 and
discusses the upcoming Tournament.
Captain Canon, Commander Stuart, Lt. Hanson, Dr. McCuen, and Mr.
Mrell gather for drinks in a little semi-formal senior staff meeting.

Lt Thull talks to Cmdr. Fischer about her wish to undergo the Rite of
Ascension. Fischer is afraid it will make her more of a Klingon warrior and
less of a Starfleet officer, increasing the chance of something like the
incident with Kem'Luo happening again. Afterwards, Thull visits Lt
Readdy in her quarters. The CSO hasn't yet decided whether she will be
Thull's Arbiter.
Dr. Hemux does some investigations into the Rite of Ascension, to find out
how he can best help Thull. Later, when he is in his quarters, the
structural integrity field on decks twelve and thirteen collapses. He is
beamed out just in time.
