Such Bright Thoughts

Do you know what I see
When I look upon the horizon?
I see treetops of such a lucious green
I see fields of grain like amber waves

I see the children in the parks
White brown yellow and black
Running, laughing, and playing together, I see

So many things
So many wondrous things
The wild animals living in balance
With nature
The lovers who celebrate life
The people dancing in the streets
Bright clothes on their bodies
Making a swaying sea of rejoice

Across the grasslands
Cattle in the fields
Horses untame and running wild
Just for the joy of it
Young foals so wondrously naive
Frisky and full of life

I think of the chidren of a thousand species
They are all the same
We are all the same
I see so much
So wondrously much
I'm thankful to be alive today
To plant the seed and watch it grow
