Hi, this is Madeleine and I am reviewing the two part special of Christmas Carol and Emily. I know Emily usually reviews, but I really enjoyed this one and wanted to write about it.

I thought it was deliciously scary when the two foster parents of Emily died, and had some romantic scenes. So, I thought it was a pretty cool one!

I really don't understand, though, why at the beginning, Scully phones up Mulder and doesn't say anything! I mean ... ?! If I knew Mulder's number, I wouldn't do that, damn it! You do have to feel sorry for Scully though, throughout this episode, though, it was a tough one for her, especially since her sister had been murdered, then, she gets a phone call, annonymous, from someone that sounds just exactly like the deceased.

Thinking, later, that this was her sister's child, Scully's emotions must have been messed up. Because, she was always quite close to Missy, and she didn't want to think that she would go off and have a child without her knowing.

If this was a cliffhanger between episodes for me, I think I would kill myself! [Just kidding!] But seriously, it was a major surprise, and I wanted to fast-tape to find out what happened.

Scully: "Definativly, that Melissa is not Emily's mother. But that they found striking genetic similarities between Emily and Melissa. So many that they ran a test against another sample they already had.

Mrs Scully: "What sample?"

Bill: "What are you trying to say?"

Scully: "According to this ------ I, am Emily's mother"
